This apartment was in an excellent location. It was a very short walk from the thunderously busy town of Split. It was very close to the harbor, Diocletian's Palace and the Riva. The apartment is tucked back in a little walkway/courtyard next to an EXCELLENT restaurant, Deep Shade. I had read the restaurant was good and was really happy we were right next to it. We ate there twice and had just drinks and an appetizer another time. Apartment Dioniz was newly renovated, decorated wonderfully, had what we needed, excellent location and had good communication from the host via texts and emails. The lockbox was a bit tricky to figure out how to open the compartment that has the code dial but we finally figured that out. It was super quiet at night and we were so content that we were so close to the action without having to sleep amidst the action. It was a reasonable price and we would definitely stay here again. We would see people coming and going to apartments in old town Split and we would look at each other and say ours is a better location and was easy to find. We were on a 2 week holiday and this was the last 5 days of it so we were happy to have a couch to slump on while we recovered after long hot days touristing, sight seeing and boat tripping. The fridge kept our drinks cold, we were comfortable and safe and clean. Really can't ask for more. Thank you for a great experience.

The only very small 2 things of note were that the shower quickly ran out of hot water even with the water heater switch on the wall turned on. I don't take hot showers but my husband is a fanatic over it so he wanted me to mention it. The bed is a bit hard for me, but that is just a preference and no where near some miserably hard beds in hotels and apartments out there.

Very centrally located , close to the promenade. 10 to 15 minutes walking from main Bus station. Neat , clean with one Bed room separate kitchen , dining and small seat out living space with TV , Good apartment for a couple . Bakery , cafés , restaurants , store close by . Owner Tina was very responsive. and gave clear directions and informations . We had great stay and if opportunity arises we will stay again .Thanks

AC was in the living room , but we could manage , a toaster could have been a great help . washing machine if people stay for longer period ( but their is a laundromat nearby )

The apartment is in a very central and convenient location near the Riva, small grocery stores, restaurants, and a laundry service. The building and interior feel clean and relatively new. The apartment is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the shower works well. The TV has Netflix, YouTube, and other apps, which was a nice bonus. It’s good for a trip where you plan to eat out often or order in, but cooking for yourself is more difficult with the limited kitchen setup. Trash is two streets away. We also noticed ants on several occasions, plus one small cockroach and a millipede, in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Bug spray wasn’t provided, so we had to buy it ourselves. We had to stock up paper towels and toilet paper. The tea lights near the TV were said to be “decoration only,” though one had clearly already been lit, which felt inconsistent. Overall, the apartment works as a base for exploring Split, but the condition and equipment didn’t quite match the high price compared to other options nearby.

On the downside, the apartment is missing a number of basic amenities for longer stays: no large bath towels (only hand towels provided), no cutting board, toaster, microwave, tongs, or oven mitts. Kitchen utensils are very limited, and the scissors are dull. The showerhead holder was broken and couldn’t be adjusted. Bed squeaks.
