don’t ever think to book there they They lied about everything regarding the reservation and the location of the hotel,

I asked for a king size bed when booking, but they lied to me and told me they had put a large bed for me, but it was two beds next to each other. The hotel's location on Booking is different from its actual location and the place where you can receive your room keys and check-in It is different from the room location in another building. You also need to walk a little. I mean, I went to three different buildings to reach my real location, and the names are different.. The room is on the third floor and I had three operations on my leg. It is difficult for me to climb all these floors. There is no elevator, knowing that there are empty rooms on the lower floors, but they were not cooperative at all.

A nice place where u feel the warmth of the locals

The rooms were very clean. The small terrace is quite a bonus! Staff were friendly and the bar downstairs had nice coffee.

Checkin counter was inside the hotel next door. No kettle in the room. Location may be bit of far but buses are on time. Bus stop just outside ( we actually had no issues on the location).

An awkward location

It's not an awful lot, I guess there's a shop right underneath it, which is convenient.

The location was hard to get to, with only a bus service that was unreliable and leaving you stuck high up in the mountain. To get here you need to take an hour long ferry trip if using the ordinary ferry from como or an inconsistent, jam packed bus service from como, then you have to wait for the inconsistent bus service to arrive and take you up the hill in a 10 minute drive that would otherwise be an hour and twenty minute walk. All in all, it took the best part of our whole day. There is no taxi service once there with the nearest taxi charging around 50 euros to get to you before even taking you anywhere. It has an odd setup as part of another hotel where you need to check in and then be taken to michelina, which sits above a small cafe and shop. Don't get me wrong for those who are seasoned travellers. This location might not be an issue, and that was the main issue, but for those wanting something more simple and stress free, this isn't the one for you. We ended up cancelling our reservation early and heading back to stay in Como for less stress. The hotel was kind enough to refund us 1 of our 3 days.

Nice place to visit and stay while exploring Como lake

Very cosy village, close to Argegno, bus stop wright in the front of the building; pleasant and friendly and helpful staff, nice option to have a breakfast in nearby hotel garden

Place was clean and spacious. Upstairs big terrace, with the mountain view and tables to have a coffee or a meal. Bathroom equipped and cosy. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Just outside the hotel, there is a parking for guests.

After 6 pm every shop was closed and we couldn't buy any food. The only restaurant available in the neighbourhood was in a hotel and was expensive. I wouldn't recommend staying there unless you travel by car. Staff at the reception was not helpful.

The host was very kind. The room and bathroom were very clean and provided everything needed. It would be a bonus to put a little fridge in the room although the staff in the cafe beneath helped us with that.

Was an amazing hotel in a lovely Italian town. Locals were very friendly and warm. Bus service to Argengo needs to be planned around but is by no means an inconvenience. Great place all round.

With the price, it’s quite nice, bus stop right in front of it and the store downstairs open from 5am to 9pm which you can buy drinks, snacks, newspapers and magazines there. The staff there is also very nice and reachable.

There is a spider at the top corner of the room which makes me feel like it’s not that clean, but overall it’s still fine.

great room, very clean with a lot of space for one or two people. it has a bar/cafe in the ground floor where you can buy anything. view is nice but nothing to fancy. area is pretty quite and the nature is amazing

it is not in one of the Mai villages so if you do not have car you will need to take an extra bus to go there. do not try to walk there the road is too busy. it is only 10 min from argegno by bus and probably 5 by car. the busses are not very reliable though. try to by on the bus stop earlier in any case.

Great base to explore Val d’intelvi

Comfortable room with great bathroom. Nice view to the main street. The staff kept places clean; the room was made up on daily basis. A place which is not filled with tourists -> a great way to see how locals live! Great location. Bus stop right next to the building. It takes about 1 hrs to get to Como. I highly recommend downloading Arriva My Pay app to get tickets. The locals doesn’t speak English, so getting a single ticket is quite difficult. You can’t buy a ticket from a bus, you’ll have to buy one from the café downstairs (if not using the app). A ticket via app for one day is 10,50 €, and you can take the bus anywhere around lake Como as much as you like.

Sound insulation was sparse. I woke up very early in the first morning to a series of loud bangs. Found out it was a barista on the café downstairs banging used coffee from a coffee machine :) But I got used to it and joined the locals for a morning coffee.

I can recommend this place close to Lake Como

Very cosy in a small village in the mountains. Very nice surrondings. Great coffee, brioche, nice waiter guy in the cafè downstairs. From here you can reach Lake Como quickly.
