Beautifully renovated villa with amazing staff, cozy vibe, and delicious local breakfasts.

We had a great stay in this beautiful villa in the mountains. The whole place felt very cozy and had a real family vibe. The staff were super nice, helpful, and really made us feel at home. The villa is old and full of charm, but at the same time perfectly renovated – everything looked great and felt comfortable. The rooms were clean, stylish, and you could see that a lot of care went into every detail. Breakfasts were amazing – lots of homemade stuff and also things from local farms and businesses. You could really taste the quality. All in all, a beautiful and peaceful place with a lot of heart. We loved it and would happily come back!

Very interesting style. True Italian old house, but rather convenient. Very welcoming Dutch hosts (Thank you Peter). Excellent Easter breakfast. Would recommend.

great stay in the mountains

Great place to stay in the mountains away from the tourist circus on Lake Como, which is a 15min drive away. There are also some good restaurants in the mountain village around the Villa (walking distance, although be prepared for walking uphill). The Villa is a beautifully renovated historic building run by a friendly Dutch couple. It has just a couple rooms and the neighbourhood is quiet. Great place to relax or to use as a base as exploring the Como and/or Lugano areas.

Exceptional

We stayed just one night at Villa il Maiale Bianco, while traveling around the Como region. It was a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and the room was well equipped. The small city is quiet and we could rest and sleep well (very comfortable bed in the room). Super breakfast. The owners are also a highlight, friendly and warm. We would definitely come back.

Superb

I like the decoration of the kitchen, and the breakfast with a cosy vibe and yummy. The room is clean, the bathroom is inside the room, the bed is extra comfy. My friend really adored the bed sheets with flowers and 'villa' vibe. 😂

The location is not the best to commute around by bus but it is suitable with the price if you rent a car or go by taxi. Ah and the WC room is separately but outside of the room.

Highly recommending this Bed and Breakfast for a perfect Italian Stay!

The hosts, Wietske and Pieter, did an amazing job making us feel at home at their B&B. Gave lots of good tips on what to do in the area, where to eat, what to see; and they were great people to get to know while staying there! The house was wonderfully decorated, and our room was light, spacious and super clean! The breakfast deserves a separate award - freshly made bread, eggs (anyway you like it), fruit salad, juice... Definitely coming back on our next trip to Italy/Como area.

We should have stayed for longer than 2 days!.. :)

Very nice B&B with friendly owners in a lovely village

Very nice Bed & Breakfast in a lovely village. Comfortable parking lot in front of the building. Nice breakfast served 8-10 am. Unfortunately we enjoyed it only once during our 3-night stay since we started our days earlier for hiking and for getting to the airport. We got great breakfasts in the center of the village where bakeries and coffee shops were already open at 7 am. Friendly and helpful owners- kindly reserved a nice restaurant for our dinner. We did not bring shampoo or soap with us- the owner explained that it is not customary for a B&B to provide these but kindly gave us some.

There is a white cable in the shower that we were sure has something to do with adjusting the water. The owners informed us the day after that it actually sets an alarm in their room in case someone in hurt in the shower. Of course we felt very uncomfortable for setting an alarm in their room. To prevent such future instances, it's probably best to have a clear sign next to the cable.

We would come back anytime.

We had a great stay! The villa is beautifully renovated, with a lot of attention to detail. Our room was super comfortable and everything was very clean. We had a shower in our room and a private toilet across the hallway which we did not mind at all. Pieter is a very friendly and helpful host who serves the perfect breakfast. We also enjoyed the nice garden and beautiful view at night with a beer from the cozy basement bar. We‘d come back anytime.

The place is wonderful so are the owners. It's clean, big, confortable, and it has a charm. Both lakes are 15mn away, I really recommend this place and the owner really cares about your wellbeing!

Close to Como, but still quiet, not croudy, VERY comfortable place to stay. The villa is so nice and with so lovely details, that you want to live there, not to stay for couple of days. If there was higher score than 10, we would have given it. The owners bake fresh bread for breakfast and fresh lemonade, they really treat us so good. Najtopla preporaka da prestojuvate tuka! Pieter en Wietske zijn enorm goede hosts. Tijdens het ontbijt wordt er echt voor je gezorgd en hebben we ons vermaakt met goede gesprekken. De kamer waarin we verbleven was enorm sfeervol en het bed was top.

Colazione eccezionale! Pane, marmellate, yogurt e succhi di frutta presentati in forma artigianale e squisiti! Persino la macedonia, che adoro... Accoglienza calorosa, camera pulita e bagno nuovo con ampia doccia.

Villa degli anni 40 ...ma affascinante! Arredamento camera datato ma funzionale. Si respira il profumo dei tempi "andati" e la mancanza di climatizzazione e tv è ampiamente compensata con l'atmosfera familiare e gioviale dei gestori!
