Nice comfortable stay.

Room was Clean and comfortable., Appreciated kettle in room and also fan. Friendly, welcoming and efficient hostess. Accomodation was short drive from the lake and other nearby towns. Very convenient parking near accomodation .

A traditional locanda run by really nice people. Spotlessly clean with an attentive room cleaning every day. We stayed 4 nights, each day clean towels and new coffee and teabags were provided. We got a room facing the back of the house which we asked for. The standing fan helped with the heat during summer nights. Windows have insect nets. No problem parking in the lot belonging to the locanda. There are also 3 free parking spaces by the side of the road just before you reach Argegno and an easy way down to the centre if you want to travel on the boat from there. And also, do not miss the chance to taste the local menu, it’s as genuine and delicious as can be. Overall, it’s great value for the price.

Nice stay!

Like a family runned hotel, nice mountain view from the room, clean! Nice food in the restaurant. Some useful information given to visit some places by the owner.

The food was good as said but a bit pricy. A pasta and a second meat course and dessert/ cafe € 100 for two persons. But this is apart from the hotel of course which was good.

Very good meals, little bit noisy rooms, pleasant staff

The local meals are very good, made of local ingredients, and very tasty. The rooms are clean, and the beds are good. The staff is very friendly, and is paying attention on the guests.

It is next to a narrow road with extensive traffic, it can be disturbing at night. However I slept well with earplugs, and unfortunately there is few space in Dizzasco to be more quiet. Maybe it worth asking for a room that looks on the back street.

Very nice and pleasant welcoming and very friendly people. No breakfast available but restaurant downstairs is open till 21:00. Sometimes noises can be heard from rooms around but for this price is ok anyway.

Nice stay in the mountains close to the lake

The room was very clean and had all that you need. Beautiful location in the mountains. 10 Minutes drive from the lake. Must do: have dinner at the amazing restaurant downstairs. Very good, authentic food.

the place was very clean and the staff were really helpful. They booked us taxi in the time of need and were so generous. Our stay at the hotel was wonderful :)

Excellent hosts, spotless premises.

The staff were very helpful and considerate. That was the best part of our visit. The room and the common areas were spotlessly clean. The location was a little far but we enjoyed the trek to the nearby town of Argegno. All in all we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at this hotel.

Extremely recommended place to stay: literally every thing about the place was great!

In a nutshell — this was a truly amazing stay. The host was so nice, that he waited us till 11 PM to check us in, since our flight was delayed. Also, the host provided us a free parking, told us about the must-visit places around the Como lake and helped us with other extra stuff we needed (like ironing, vine glasses, corkscrew, etc). Even more than that: the place is held by the family (father, son, daughters, etc) and it feels super cozy because if that (the atmosphere, if you know what I mean :) ). So — definitely 10/10.

Nice stay-friendly staff!

Very friendly staff with a lovely dog! They devoted time to give us tips about where to go etc. Our room had everything we wanted and a nice view! We also enjoyed our dinner at the terrace - quality food and chill atmosphere. Grazie mille!

No sound insulation. Our room was in front of the street so we could hear all the traffic. Perhaps the other rooms which were not fronting the street are quieter. Not ‘central’ so definitely need a car to reach places of interest.

This is an amazing accommodation for the fraction of the price you will pay in another place and everything is so close. 20 minute drive to Villa del Balbinello, Vill Carlota and you can take a ferry boat ride to all the little towns: Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio. The owner is amazing and he has a really cute dog named Cuba. The room was clean and comfortable.

The owners are very helpful, they helped us as much as they could. The room was modern and comfy, with a kettle and tea included. Good to be combined with a restaurant as in the area there's not much close by places to eat.

Ottimo e molto pulito

La stanza era veramente pulita bene, anche nei punti meno comuni dove di solito si trova polvere, qui non c'era, ottimo. Bella la possibilità di regolare a mano i 3 caloriferi a piacimento. Abbastanza comodo il parcheggio riservato; personale gentile. Molto bella la vista dalla finestra. Apprezzato molto la possibilità di far rifare la camera ogni mattina.

Mancava un mini frigo, la copertura laterale della doccia (vasca) era un po' scomoda da usare, anche bidet un po' scomodo (troppo vicino al muro)

Esperienza splendida

Ho apprezzato molto le dimensioni ampie delle stanze dell’appartamento, il divano robusto e molto comodo, la cucina nuovissima con tanto di forno, bollitore e frigo ben funzionante, la doccia anch’essa nuova con soffione a pioggia super confortevole e la vista sulla vallata, per un risveglio incantevole da protagonista di una favola Disney. La doppia soluzione con imposte e tende oscuranti in camera garantisce un riposo eccezionale, perché volendo si può azzerare completamente la luce se si chiudono entrambe. Il Wi-Fi sostiene tranquillamente 3 device allo stesso tempo. Una piccola menzione speciale per i dettagli, dai libri presenti in libreria (c’è persino Alta Fedeltà di Nick Hornby, un delizioso pilastro della letteratura contemporanea) alle saponette profumatissime, passando attraverso gli ottimi profumi per ambiente, la mini selezione di bustine di tè e caffè solubile presente in cucina e il piumone anallergico. Piccole cose, che però svoltano la vacanza.
