If you are looking for a beautiful secluded romantic location, situated high up on a set of endless ridges in the Lot and Garonne district with spectacular views including over a lake, a fabulous secluded 10 x 5m pool (for your use only), adjacent to a beautiful ancient stone cottage with many authentic features and presented in tip top condition given its age, then you’re prayers have been answered. I feel totally confident in saying that you will not be disappointed.  It is not called Gite Quietude for nothing; this is calm and tranquility at its best situated on a quiet but working farm with only three other habited properties.

If you are seeking 5 star modern accommodation, party lifestyle and general mayhem please look elsewhere; it goes without saying however that well behaved children and pets are welcome!!
The property features 2 double and 1 triple bedrooms (latter ideal for kids), so sleeps 7 max in main gite. There is also a separate rustic art studio that can sleep 2 (ideal for teenagers etc). There is a games room with pool table, table tennis, table football and there is a badminton court in the garden. Plus there are 5 bikes available to the guests. There are 3 terraces, two facing the pool and one has its own hot water shower, the other is at the front of the house where the BBQ is and is great for morning sun and to take a break from the heat. The lake is lovely for picnics and has big fish (carp), it is not part of the gite property.

Facilities are available 5 mins drive in Levignac-de-Guyenne; shop, bakery etc, another 5 minutes and you can be in Duras with its ancient fort and more extensive facilities. Large towns such as Marmande and Miramont le Guyenne are less than 15 minutes drive; both have supermarkets and a wide variety of retail therapy.

For 2021 there are  new additions; 1) An updated kitchen with new beech worktops 2) A separate dining room off the kitchen / lounge that allows access through to the main gite. Please refer to site plan and floor plan to understand the layouts.
