About this cottage rental
Les Noisettes is a charming, semi-detached farmhouse with its own private pool. Deceptively spacious it offers comfortable family accommodation. Situated in a small hamlet ensures privacy without isolation. It has 3 double bedrooms, 2 with double beds, one with en suite shower/WC and cot. The third has 2 single beds and a mezzanine area. Duvet/linen and house towels provided. There is a family bathroom and WC plus separate WC.
Its roomy farmhouse kitchen with original bread oven (now used as an open fireplace) is furnished with a large stand alone cooker, table/chairs, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and a good supply of crockery, cutlery, etc.. The spacious lounge has a wood burning stove, settee, armchairs, TV, DVD, video and a dining area. Outside there is a 2 tier patio with ample garden furniture and barbecue. The top tier overlooks the pool, large garden and surrounding countryside. Being set back off the road it is a safe haven for children. An ideal family location.
Low Season Bookings: Les Noisettes can be booked out of season but is not available from November to March .
Low rental costs do not include heating and this is charged for,the meter will be read before your arrival and again on your departure.
A returnable deposit of £200 is required from which electricity costs will be deducted.
The electric radiators provide good heating and there is an open bread oven fireplace in the kitchen as well as a wood burning stove in the lounge.
Swimming Pool Safety: All pools in France have to be fenced or alarmed.
Our pool has an alarm it is your responsibility to always switch it on when not in use.
Telephone: Available for calls to landlines only.
Wi Fi -: Access to the internet is available from your laptop or phone via Wi -Fi.

Suitably equipped house in rural (quiet) location served as a perfect base to visit the Les Plus Beaux Villages and more (Bergerac, Sarlat, Saint Emilion and Bordeaux). Lots of running trails around and plenty of things to do (canoeing, cycling, local markets, brocantes, night markets…) within short drives. Pool to be enjoyed on days in. Friendly and informative host.

Les Noisettes is a lovely property with all the facilities one could wish for. We used it as a base to tour the surrounding villages etc,and it was perfect for that, and we knew we had a comfortable cottage to return to. I would definitely visit again.

The property is perfect for a relaxing family break. The pool offers a good escape if it gets hot and is large enough to play and enjoy. The drive is a perfect place to play Boule.
The situation is good for activities, local markets and vinyard visits. The only drawback we had was having to travel for bread in the morning though we turned that into a positive by visiting differvnt towns and villages.

Overall the house is nice with plenty of space and it is well equipped. When we arrived it was all very clean and everything we needed was to hand.The owners are very friendly and helpful. Its a really nice area and great to explore the Dordogne/Perigord area. The only gripe we had was that the proximity of the other rental property to the back of the house (which is the kitchen and main bedroom) meant that if, as we did, you have anything like noisy neighbours then it can be pretty difficult to get to sleep or even to relax in the bedroom or kitchen and you may want to keep the windows closed - not a good idea in 30c+ temperatures! Next door's patio area is literally right outside the kitchen window. Overall a nice place but a shame about the layout of the two properties.
