Saint Sulpice Lofts by Bakan - Old Montreal

Fabulous location in Old Montreal walking distance to amazing restaurants and cafes. The loft was extremely spacious yet also very warm and cosy. The host was super responsive and helpful.

Could be noisy at night.

Location was great. Spacious apartment. Beds were comfortable

No handrails on stairs and stairs were completely open on one side. Unable to get upstairs warm even with overheating main floor. Ants in the bathrooms that then showed up in the bedrooms and living room. Three lamps were missing lightbulbs two of which didn't work even after replacing bulbs. Dishwasher wasn't fastened in and was missing some wheels on the bottom rack. Two of the bedrooms smelled musty and windows couldn't be opened. Various toiletries were missing from different bathrooms. Some of the towels had long hair in them. Shower sprayers didn't work well. Peeling paint in some bathrooms. Dryer took a very long time even with a small load --exhaust vent may need cleaning. Living room and dining room furniture was not particularly comfortable. We were told we could temporarily store our luggage (after checkout) at the hotel next door but when we went there that was not the case. At the hotel we were told this has happened before but they aren't allowed to do it for insurance reasons.
