Le Plateau is a great neighborhood for walking, eating, people-watching, with great access to Montreal's Metro system, so easy to get around the city. The apartment itself was gorgeous, large and well-appointed. Having a washer & dryer in the apartment is great for anyone staying more than a few days. The host team was responsive, generally replying within minutes to any email.
The apartment may not be good for older folks or those with mobility issues (or a lot of luggage!), as the stairway to reach it is fairly long. During our week the weather was not excessively warm, but during a heat wave it might be uncomfortable as there are only fans for cooling (though plenty of them).

How close it was to the metro. And all other bars and restaurants near by. The apartment itself was fantastic! All we needed, its big and was perfect for our group of 5.
Being in a touristy area, there’s lots of thieves. I wish they would provide more of a secure parking space.
