Absolutely a number 10+ and we will return just a quiet space with an incredible view very nice hostess and a clean room

The view is absolutely spectacular. It is located on a Bluff overlooking all the gulf islands. The sunsets were incredible We had nice lunches outside, but at night we wanted to just stay at home. Do not miss the sunset plus we even saw orca.

If I’m really, really, really picky, maybe because it was just one burner plate to cook on. But there was also an air fryer and that made up for just having one plate of course there are two barbecues outside. But otherwise I have no negative comments at all.

A comfortable, relaxing experience with the best view on North Pender.

The stunning view was memorizing. The room was small but comfortable. We had full access to a very large common area with a well equipped kitchen and several sitting areas.

The location is a little removed from town amenities, but the view made up for the distance to restaurants and cafes. There are limited activities to do without the use of a car.

Very steep driveway into the home. A lot of yellow jacket hornets/wasps outdoors, which is out of the owner’s control.

This is an incredible AirBNB with spectacular cliffside views and good things nearby.

We were responsible for our own meals. Facilities were more than adequate. Two grills were available outside with a great view! The views from the porch outside the Star Trek room made everything worthwhile.

The Star Trek room is a little kooky! It should be called the Galaxy Room or something similar- no references to Star Trek but the view made up for any deficiencies.

Views are unbeatable, the common spaces and outdoor areas were spacious and well appointed. It’s quiet and so peaceful- deer wander through in the morning and eagles flying by are your neighbours!

Bed was a wee bit soft for my bad back but that’s just my preference:)

I want to come back every year!

Spectacular views of the ocean and the rest of the island, with gorgeous sunsets each night. The bed was massive and super comfortable, and the common areas were clean and new. All of Pender island is within a half hour's drive, and Magic Lake is only 5 minutes away. I proposed during my stay, and the host, Susan, was super helpful in making it a perfect surprise for my partner.

The view at Shangri-La is absolutely breathtaking! You will very much enjoy this patio and the quirky location atop the rocks here. You most likely need a car to reach this though as you will not be able to get around the island very easily without one. We had a lovely time getting to know some of the other visitors over BBQ's and laughs and enjoyed the sunset and tranquil sea views every morning and evening. The rooms are fairly small, but you don't need to stay in them as the living space is large and has a record player and library that are worth exploring! We very much enjoyed this location, however no breakfast is included in the "BNB" you can bring anything you like and store it in the fridge, use the BBQ's etc. The owners were not around much and let us have a lot of privacy.

There is currently some loud construction happening across the street at the back of this property. While this obviously cannot be controlled, it is very loud during the morning and the day. It's not enjoyable to sit and read a book with loud machinery droning on. It didn't bother us too much as we were out exploring during the day, but the mornings would have been nice to sit and read and that wasn't an option. A fan would also be a lovely addition to the rooms for days that are warm without a breeze.

Perfect peace

This property is wonderful. Clean, bright, everything is new and the hosts are great. The shared living area is spacious and kitchen well stocked. Each suite has its own deck where you can sit and watch the ocean scenery and sunsets.

Exceptional

The views are unreal, the suites were unique and beautiful, and it is so quiet and peaceful. The communal kitchen made for a nice time to connect with other travellers. There was always enough breakfast food we could make, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is close to the Magic Lake swimming hole, which we took full advantage of. We spent the evenings star gazing & looking at the ocean. The only thing missing were hot tubs & candles! It’s an incredible place, we would definitely recommend it.

When we were there, it was infested by wasps, so sitting/eating outside in the daytime was nearly impossible. It is tucked away on a bluff, which makes it only really accessible by car - groceries should be bought before heading up there.
