Annie and Simon were absolutely wonderful. The location of their home is lovely and the view from the breakfast table of Loch Ness was incredible! We were so sad that we were only staying one night, and agreed that we would love to stay here again if we return to the area.

Annie & Simon have a lovely home which you can see instantly is geared towards warmth, comfort and wellbeing. My room was very comfortable with an en suite bathroom with a nice warm shower and a roll top bath if I preferred. Home made short cake was put in my room along with a good selection of tea and coffee. A lovely sitting room is available to guests with a big TV, comfy chairs and a selection of snuggly blankets if you want to wrap up. Annie & Simon are very welcoming hosts and are happy to chat with you and share their knowledge of the area (and further afield). Breakfast was very tasty and mostly homemade including the carrot and orange juice that I tried. I felt very fortunate that I had booked my stay at Urquhart B & B as it turned out to be better than expected. Sometimes it's a leap of faith booking a place to stay regardless of the info available on the booking sites (as I learnt during my next stay). The location overlooking Loch Ness is excellent and if dark skies are your thing it's ideal as there is NO light pollution and the sky is black as black at night. I would definitely like to stay with Annie and Simon again if I revisit Loch Ness.

Clean and cosy room, friendly owners, lovely view onto Loch Ness.
If I wanted to be picky then there is some road noise, but didn’t ruin our stay and we both got a good nights sleep.
