This is second time staying at Fernhill. This time stayed at Stables. Stayed several nights for work and it is a great fine. Lovely spacious room. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower. Great to have access to kitchenette. Beautiful surroundings.
Ceiling in bathroom could do with some tlc.

Very quiet and peaceful overlooking countryside , very clean, and a very simple entry system I couldn’t really rate the staff as I didn’t see any, not necessarily an issue,as I didn’t need to speak to anyone. I can’t rat3 the kitchen or breakfast facilities as I didn’t use them
On this occasion there was nothing that I didn’t like.

The location and the peace and quiet were top notch. The view from my room was amazing with the sunsetting over the distant hills and the hares hopping across the fields, the fern tree and the birds that flittered around it.
I would have liked a place to sit outside and look at the nice view. I was in the Redfern room, and I would have it if there was a door in that large window and o could sit outside with a cuppa and watch the sun set and the hares!

Everything, perfect idyllic location surrounded by farmland, horses, beautiful views. Close enough to the town. Very comfortable spacious room with everything in there you need. Fab self serve breakfast, with plenty of variety.
