Lovely stay in Normandy. Very beautiful house. Well equipped. Friendly hosts. Just a warning that owner has access to garden from a side gate which happens every day to check clean pool without warning which is a bit strange if you’re in the garden. They do leave immediately if they hear you but would be better if you were warned in advance.

Beautiful property. Large rooms with high ceilings, which helped in the heat of summer. Pool is perfect for smaller children to swim and for adults to cool off in.Kitchen has all you need and more for a big family. Would suggest some new outside loungers but other than that it was perfect

We had a lovely stay at Morgny. The heated pool was a nice touch and the views were fantastic. There is not much to do locally but you are very close to Lyons la Floret which is a nice town with good restaurants. The house is nice but the beds were quite uncomfortable and we paid additionally for the towels which we were expecting to be slightly better quality for the price. Otherwise a lovely stay

Lovely place to stay. Everthing is just perfect. Very warm welcome - you feel right at home straight away. And you won't get any complaints from your pets either as there's a great big beautiful secure garden for romps and sprints. Very much looking forward to going back again next year.

We had an excellent week in Morgny. We spent three days locally and then enjoyed three days travelling into Paris for the Olympics (a fair drive, but manageable as a long day trip). We were two families with four children between us (6-8 years old) and found little villages to explore locally, before afternoons relaxing in the beautiful garden. The host was exceptionally helpful and respected our privacy, whilst also being on hand to answer our questions. A brilliant stay - thank you!

3 generations and our little dogs had a wonderful week here. The house was beyond expectations: the photos do not show how beautiful it is. Our host greeted us on arrival, along with some delicious little treats! Communication throughout was excellent - the best we have ever experienced over the years of staying in France. The countryside around Morgny was beautiful, the goods from the village boulangerie, delicious. We’ve had a brilliant time, so much so we have booked to stay again next year. We have stayed in a number of properties in Normandy, but this house and host surpasses them all. Looking forward to next summer.

Two families stayed here for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. Our children enjoyed having so much space and the pool was very popular - even when it was raining! From this location we were able to have several great day trips and found it very easy to get the train to Paris. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. The owner, Anne-Laure, was very kind and supportive. We were made to feel very welcome! Highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing stay in this stunning Gîte. The house with its private walled garden is just stunning, we were able to relax in comfort and the location is easy to explore that region of France. The Host is very helpful and friendly and made the stay all the better with ease of communication.

Communication was great and check in was easy and straightforward. The house and grounds are wonderful. The living room was a great family room, the dining room was very accommodating for our family of eight and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare a family meal. Having a bathroom downstairs and upstairs came in handy, especially with there being so many of us and having a three year. The bedrooms were a good size and quite comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is that the wardrobe in the upstairs double bedroom is replaced as it is musty, so for us unusable. The location was ideal for us. During our time there we travelled to Paris, Disneyland, Amiens, Rouen and Pierrefonds. I would highly recommend staying at this property. Thank you

The house had a lovely warm and relaxing atmosphere and the garden and views are great. On hot days the pool got lots of use and having large windows the upstairs was easy to keep cool. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed dining out on the patio. Our host Anne-Laure was very welcoming as was the local Boulangerie! We didn’t want to leave!

A lovely extended family holiday. Beautiful house and gardens, with the pool to cool down after a hot day. Amazing sunsets from the corn fields. Visited Claude de Monet gardens, Les Andelys, Rouen, Abbey de Mortemer and lovely walks around Lyons la foret. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The house and garden are perfect for a stay in Morgny. The house is a brilliant size with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lounge, utility room and a large garden with chairs, table, bbq and most importantly a pool! The location is perfect for exploring Normandy. Lots of beautiful little villages to explore are a plenty. The area is wonderfully rural and to be woken (not too early!) by the bells from the church opposite the property was lovely too. Paris is 90mins journey away, Rouen (a cathedral city) is less than an hours drive and there are plenty of places to explore nearby for day trips out for all the family. It has been a wonderful week and we will most certainly be back.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday. The house is not only beautiful on the outside but lovely on the inside aswell. The kids loved the pool and dog was safe and content in the wonderful garden. The bakery in the village really is the best in France the pastries are not only huge but very tasty and the owner was very friendly. There is loads to do in the area and there are loads of useful leaflets in the house to help you plan your days out. The local vet in Entrapagny was very helpful and spoke some English which helped when booking the dog in for her worming treatment. We wanted for nothing the 2 weeks we were there I would highly recommend it.

Very well equipped property and outside the walled garden was a really nice place to sit and relax. The people at the property are extremely pleasant and helpful, very quick to respond to any requests. We're planning to go back next year, it has everything we want.

We had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful house in Morgny. It was a perfect setting for a family holiday - we had a group of four adults, a 4 year old, 2 year old and a 1 year old cocker spaniel, and we all absolutely adored our week here. The two fully enclosed gardens at the front and back of the house were much enjoyed by children, dog, and adults alike! The pool was great on the hot summer week we were here, and the house itself was spacious, clean and well set up for our group (in terms of layout). The village bakery (featuring huge pastries) was marvellous, and the supermarkets were only a short 10 minute drive. We really had a perfect week and would love to come back again.

Wow! The photos don't do this house justice.... it's a perfect home from home for families, we cooked in the wonderful kitchen most nights whilst the children enjoyed the heated pool & safe, enclosed walled garden. The owner was super friendly & spoke good English. Visited Amiens cathedral, the beach at Dieppe, parc St. Paul (a must at €22 a head, with over 40 rides, was awesome!) and Paris, so beautiful! Worth paying for a seine river cruise, €13 each, hop on/off all day for Eiffel Tower, the louvre, champs elysee, jardin de fleur, cathedral of notre dame.... was an amazing day! This house is perfectly nestled in the country next to a small church, so nice to hear the bells toll on the hour & half hour. Away from it all, just watch the bats fly around you in the early evening whilst you enjoy a local wine. France at its finest. We'll be back, with all five of our children. Thank you Madame marteau

The pool is a welcome cool dip when it's hot and I should think great for kids. The house was clean, very well equipped and has the feel of a family home - we were welcomed with flowers in a vase in the main room, cider and jam. Perfect! The owner couldn't have been more helpful and lives next door on the farm - the space we had is completely private tho'. The boulangerie (closed Mondays) in the village makes the best pain au raisin I've ever tasted and the potager has great jam as well as fruit, veg, plants. The Auberge de la Foret down the road is a seriously good restaurant, and an easy walk. Morgny is a great place to stay, in beautiful countryside, easy for walks, for the Sunday market at Lyons le Foret, gardens etc.We were there in the harvest (mid to end July) which is noisy late into the night, lots of tractors coming and going. Very understandable but a consideration as the cross roads right outside the house is also busy. We'd love to go back. Hopefully next year!

We stayed in this house for a week in the summer of 2014, and loved it so much we returned for another week in the summer of 2015. The house is absolutely beautiful. It is in a wonderfully quiet, sleepy little town, and is so peaceful. You have to drive to the next town to find a supermarket, but there's a local baker a 2 minute walk away where you can get a lot of what you need. The owners don't speak much English, but we managed to get by fine on arrival. A nice touch for us on our second visit was that they remembered us from the year before. My daughter was 4 months old on our first visit and a year later they seemed so pleased to see her and make a little fuss over her. The house is managed by a lady who is not the owner, but on our second stay the owner herself nipped over to say hello to us, I assume because we were return visitors, which was lovely. The garden is HUGE. It has a bbq, sun loungers, big outside table, a pool (not heated) and is fantastic for playing hide and seek! It's completely walled in and was very safe for our children. The house was clean and lovely, the bedrooms are spacious and beautiful. We had a perfect holiday here, and the only reason we've not returned this year is that the dates we wanted were already booked, which isn't surprising, as the house is fantastic. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful, relaxing holiday in the beautiful french countryside, but not really for anyone looking for a lot of nearby activity.

this is a lovely house - great facilities and lots of space. The garden is beautiful and the pool was loved by our kids. As a base it works really well - we visited Paris, Giverny, Eurodisney and lots of other places and enjoyed coming back to this lovely house every time. It was very clean and well maintained and we would definitely stay again.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison très bien équipée pour plusieurs familles. Le grand salon, la grande cuisine, la terrasse et le grand jardin ont été particulièrement appréciés. La piscine très sécurisante avec des enfants et le jardin entièrement clos participent à la tranquillité des parents. La communication a été aisée, l'accueil et le départ bien organisés. Nous venons de passer 2 nuits/3 jours dans cette maison, avec le 1er vrai beau week end de l’année hors confinement. Le jardin est magnifique avec sa vue sur le cloché atypique du village. La piscine est plus grand me en vrai que sur les photos, et surtout l’eau est bonne vu sa taille et le fait qu’elle soit chauffé. Le soleil donne dans le jardin de 8h à 20h sans intéruption, et il y a de quoi faire des siestes à l’ombre. La balançoire a fait le bonheur des enfants présent, et le bbq celui des parents. Pour notre chien, ce fût idéal car il s’agit d’une maison avec un jardin de curé à l’arrière (clos par des murs, impossible que votre chien s’échappe, et la partie de devant est close aussi, le portail se ferme). Une maison qu’on re louera à la fin de l’été c’est certain! Merci à Anne Laure et à son amie. Julien BONNET
