DO NOT STAY WITH THIS HOST

Our experience was deplorable. We arrived in the evening and picked up the keys from the lock box, only to have the dreadful surprise that our "non smoking apartment" reeked of cigarettes and had cigarette burns on the furniture... there was no wifi network as advertised... the electric radiator had been torn from the wall of the bathroom with the wires hazardously exposed... and the apartment was dirty with trash on the sofa and old food splatters in the kitchen. We immediately contacted the host, who was responsive and sent one of his staff to meet us. We explained our problems and she explained that she could only clean the apartment - she could not fix the radiator, install wifi, or place us in a non-smoking apartment as requested. We informed her that we would not stay in the apartment and requested a refund. She called the host and then told us that we would receive a full refund as requested. We also called the host and confirmed that we would not stay in the apartment, and the person we spoke to also confirmed that a full refund would be forthcoming. In the presence of the staff member, we returned the keys to the lock box and left the apartment and submitted our request for the promised refund via Booking.com. This turned out to be the scam of the century! The next day, the host rejected our request for a refund on Booking.com. They wrote falsely that we had stayed in the apartment and therefore we were not eligible for a refund! They had lied to us the night before so we would leave the apartment and the keys... and then they kept our money and rented the empty apartment to someone else. What a fraud!

Strongly disliked it.

We did not enjoy the place at all. It isn't a nice part of town. We didn't feel safe or comfortable. It was hard to join the owner on the phone, hard to get the key and complicated to get in the garage. Not enought towels and blankets. Very poor service. Of course, apartement Sully is cheap, it's an apartment for rent. In my opinion, it shouldn't be on booking.com because it isn't a hotel at all. No one was there for service (we arrive around 4:30pm). Don't go there.

Someone to give me the key, show me how things work, turn heater on etc... I wish there wasn't people standing and smoking right by the door. It looks ghetto.

Adequate for our ‘boys’ weekend’ (albeit two mature in age ‘boys’) whilst attending the Ryder Cup

The apartment block is a well-positioned base from which to visit Paris and the surrounding areas to the west side of Paris, if you have your own transport as we did.

The apartment was poorly maintained, poorly serviced and poorly stocked and appointed. • The apartment had not been cleaned properly – dirty surfaces etc. - and still contained much evidence of previous occupants. • We had booked a non-smoking apartment but it appeared that it had previously been occupied by smokers. Evidence included a cigarette burn on the sitting room sofa. • There was no hot water on arrival. This was rectified for the 2nd day. • The bed (a single one) in the one bedroom was not made up on arrival and, when this was pointed out, bedding was supplied but simply dumped on the bed for us to make it up ourselves. • Eating and cooking utensils were sparse. E.g. one dessert spoon and two tea spoons for a 2-bedroomed apartment!?? • There were broken pieces of furniture. • Sink plugs were missing or the wrong size. • Only one light bulb (of three) was working in the main light in the sitting room. • Pictures and mirrors were simply propped up on surfaces and some still had the cardboard protective packing corners attached.

En dépannage 1 nuit c'est à peine tolérable....

Tout doit être rénové, tout est sale, dégoutant, des joints noirs, des draps qui avaient des trâces, une fenêtre du salon bancale qui ne ferme pas sauf en la soulevant, le frigo immonde, les stores totalement abimés, bref c'est très sale... Les toilettes sont à peu près acceptables curieusement ! L'environnement n'inspire pas confiance, la voiture roule hyper vite à 2 h du matin, c'est mal fréquenté. Il faut deviner de se baisser pour voir au fond de la boite à lettres les différents boitiers pour 4 appartements à louer.

Absolument tout, en plus d’être sale, le matelas avec un énorme trou, tu t’allonges tu touches le sommier! Ah c’est bien de mettre des roses sur le lit quand tu vois ce qui s’y cache en dessous, j’aurais sincèrement honte de louer un appartement dans cet état ! Tout est crade ça m’a tellement dégoûté, je n’ai jamais vu ça. Dommage que j’ai pas pris le temps de prendre en photo la saleté et je pèse mes mots.

Nous ne sommes pas restés assez longtemps pour pouvoir répondre à ce critère.

L’arrivée a été très compliquée. Nous avions précisé à plusieurs reprises lors de la réservation puis de la prise de contact que nous arriverions dans la nuit à cause d’un mariage, nous avions bien suivi le protocole et pris contact avec la gouvernante en amont. Nous devions appeler cette dernière une fois devant le logement. Nous pensions donc qu’il s’agissait d’une entrée automatiques avec appel comme dans certains logements dans la mesure où il était écrit « entrée autonome » dans l’annonce. Malgré cela, en arrivant vers 4h du matin, il a été très difficile de récupérer les clés : de multiples appels sans réponse, des réponses en sms automatiques qui ne correspondaient en rien à notre annonce, des renvois vers un vigile d’une autre ville que la nôtre, et finalement une interlocutrice assez sèche au téléphone nous reprochant l’heure. Après de longues minutes d’attente dans la nuit, nous avons fini par obtenir des codes de boîtes aux lettres et à clés, mais la clé remise ne correspondait pas au logement indiqué sur l’annonce. Nous avons dû chercher et comprendre par nous-mêmes quel était le bon appartement. Une arrivée très pénible et confuse, surtout en pleine nuit…

Court séjour dans le cadre d'un déplacement utilitaire. Le logement correspondait aux besoins.

Emplacement pratique et facilement accessible dans la ville de Mantes-la-Jolie secteur "Val Fourré" (même si ce nom semble aujourd'hui proscrit...). L'appartement est facile d'accès.

Propreté passable voire pas terrible hors les sanitaires qui sont très propres. J'ai moyennement apprécié de trouver une chaussette à l'intérieur du canapé en ouvrant ce meuble pour dormir dessus (dans mon sac de couchage ; à ce propos, un jeu de draps pour le convertible serait bienvenu). De plus, il n'est pas noté dans l'annonce qu'il s'agit d'un studio ; je m'attendais à une chambre séparée du séjour avec canapé convertible.
