Casa Miratejo - Downtown

The apartment is spacious, bright, and very well equipped. What surprised us most was how incredibly quiet it was. The living room, which includes a sofa bed, overlooks a beautiful garden, while the bedroom is located next to it and has no windows, making it especially peaceful and perfect for sleeping. The building itself is also beautiful, with a truly impressive entrance hall that adds to the overall atmosphere of the stay. The location is excellent — very close to the cathedral and the castle, and the apartment building is even visible from the castle itself. Since it is located on one of Lisbon’s famous hills, every longer walk around the city naturally ends with an uphill climb back home. However, this is also part of the charm of the location, because the views are absolutely breathtaking: panoramic views of the city, the bay, and the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge. The gardens visible from the living room windows, as well as the surrounding greenery nearby, make the whole place feel exceptionally beautiful and relaxing.

The only small downside was the bathroom, which lacked enough hooks or places to hang towels and clothes. There was a small shelf in the hallway outside the bathroom where we left our clothes before showering, but it was not very practical. We also had to dry wet towels over the backs of chairs.

It is a bit dated, kitchen is not very cozy and bathroom smells of old mould

The apartment was a great size and offered truly amazing views. Despite being located right in the center of town, it was incredibly quiet, and I had a very restful sleep every night. Highly recommended!

TV could be bigger size.

Not very clean- duvet covers and kitchen worktops (there were small insects all over the cooker- ants?) Severe issue with the bathroom drainage. 10 staircases to reach the fourth floor.
