Baixa Heritage Apartments by Cathedral & Tram 28 by NestAtLisbon

Location was great with a nice view. Nicely furnished although the main bedroom had a thin futon mattress. The bedroom in the attic had a better mattress but narrow stairs to access. Host welcomed us and gave us advice on places to eat as well as a nice welcome bottle of wine. Filtered water pitcher. Air conditioning worked.

Bath tub shower partial glass "door" allowed water to splash on the floor and we had to use 2-3 towels on the floor. 4th floor walk up in historic building is difficult with luggage and limited hand railing.

Nice apartment. Quite spacious and had full kitchen and washing machine which was a big bonus. Nice view out of the main window. Very centrally located.

The 3 flights of stairs were a challenge. We knew there was no elevator when we booked but it was difficult with luggage.

The managing agents were exceptional. The best we have had in seven weeks of travelling. The apartment was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Excellent kitchen facilities/laundry ability and lovely view out the windows. The detailed instructions on how to operate devices in the flat, including entry and exit were the best we’ve ever seen. One of the managers met us at the property and gave us a very warm welcome with lots of excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Having that local knowledge was invaluable. 

Like most places in Europe, we ascended the stairs to the third floor.
