Location and facilities were great

There a few SUPER minor details I would fix: 1) have a few nespresso pods in the room 2) grease the hinges on the wooden shutters 3) the secondary locks on the upstairs right window are installed backwards 4) might want some dim lights on the stairs. Hard to walk down safely at night 5) placement of the bathroom light switch is annoying.

First at all: The location is great: Just opposite the Saint Anthony church, with a view to the entrance of the patriarchal See of Lisbon. We arrived from Porto by train at the Santa Apolonia station and were walking to the apartment. Key pick-up worked well: You will get two mobiles numbers to call a week prior to your trip. There is also a link in the e-mail to fill-in the guest information’s, it makes the handover quicker. The host bringing the key was a friendly, knowledgeable lady. She was also sending us a privately made Lisbon tour guide with the “must do/seen” spots of Lisbon. The apartment is a duplex, just recently refurbished. There is no noise coming from the outside and also an A/C is available. On the ground floor is a toilet, kitchenette, sofa corner and eating table, on the upper floor is a king size bed. Lying down is on your own risk, once you are on that bed, you don’t want to get up anymore! The toilet, shower, towels, bed, pillows, bed-sheets etc. is 5-Star like. We didn’t cook, but there is everything you need, and a convenient store is a 10 minutes’ walk away. BTW: Don’t by Mineral water – it comes out of the tap for free! Cab’s, Tricycles, Tourist-buses, Tram, its all in front of the house door, the city centre is a mere 15 minutes’ walk away. All in all a perfect stay, in a perfect location in a beautiful city!

As said it’s a duplex: There are stairs down to the ground floor and up to the gallery where the bed is. Maybe to consider: If you have often needs during the night, the toilet is downstairs. There is a slight moist air odor, it may disappear in summer though. For TV addicts: There is none, also bring your own music player with you.
