Portas do Teatro Apartments

The apartment is very well located and central, with metro and train connections very close by. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops and groceries nearby, making it a very convenient place to live. The rooms are well sized and the apartment has large living and dining rooms, very comfortable to relax when at home; the thick walls also keep the rooms cool despite the summer heat. Everything was in working condition in the apartment, too. The property management was very friendly and helpful, promptly responding to questions and issues. There was a wide power outage in Lisbon during our stay and they went above and beyond to assist us under these circumstances.

The bathroom, although functional, could do with some renovation. The shower and illumination especially would benefit of new appliances. Noise from the above apartment can be quite annoying, the floor/ceiling appear to be very thin and the noise travel easily. We had different neighbors during our stay, and some were very noisy especially late at night: we could very easily hear them walking around and talking.

The description and picture was not accurate (2nd bathroom, bedroom configuration). There was no signage of the floor or room number. A name or number on the door would be helpful. We would have appreciated meeting one of the 4 named owners upon arrival.

Fantastic view, excellent location!

Main bathroom smelled of sewer (needs maintenance) and large bed had mold around the baseboard. It was very clean, but there were several other small, but necessary maintenance issues that made the apartment feel dingy and not well cared for.
