MY LX FLAT Castle Alfama Apartments

Sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber.

Die Lage ist nicht ideal mit viel Gepäck. Uns war nicht bewusst, dass man nicht direkt zur Unterkunft fahren kann ca. 300m bergauf. Mit zwei kleinen Kindern und entsprechend Gepäck war das nicht ideal. Nachts ist es recht laut in der Gegend viele Touristen und “Gestaltet”.

The location was great, right next to the St. George castle. The appartment was specious with a fully equipped kitchen and other stuff that was needed for the family vacation of two, me and my daughter. We were kindly allowed to leave the luggage in the appartment after the check-out. We also really enjoyed the fish pâté, the bread snacks, and the small bottle of wine!

The coffee machine wasn't working properly, and some of the kitchen drawers were hard to open. The air conditioner didn't cool very well, but we were lucky that the weather wasn't too hot, so we hardly needed it. The apartment is on the third floor and the staircase is narrow, so do not bring large luggage.

Location

Needs some serious TLC, sofa has rips and stains all over it, the air con unit only lets out 17c cold air in both lounge and bedroom literally dripping with sweat all night. Huge stains on ceiling in bedroom. The window lock/handle broken in the bathroom as well as the tap handle coming off every time want to turn it on. Couldn’t turn on overhead shower so had to hold the hand held shower part whilst washing my self. The seal on the shower door is broker at the top. The freezer door just falls of so can’t use the freezer..A little neglected as you can see, fingers crossed they fix these things for the up and coming season…
