MY LX FLAT Castle Alfama Apartments

The accommodation is in an excellent location, very close to the fortress. The interior is tasteful, and the bed is comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the complimentary wine.

The bathroom door is difficult to open and tends to get stuck!

De bedden in slaapkamer waren niet comfortabel. Onze zoon van 17 lag daar niet prettig op. Niet geschikt voor volwassenen dus. De airco in de woonkamer maakt wel veel geluid, die in de slaapkamer was heel rustig.

First and the most important the staff are amazing and super responsive and accommodating. Location is perfect, Portugal walking distance of everything and walking 5 mins will get you to the most amazing view. There is literally nothing I did not like but would like to highlight couple points. We intentionally booked last floor (4th) for the view and not to have someone walking on top of us. But, please be careful because it is stairs that you have to climb twice a day and if you are more than 6 feet tall it studio 4D is a bit challenging because of the low ceiling. Other than that i can't think of anything else and I can't recommend it enough!!

Location

Needs some serious TLC, sofa has rips and stains all over it, the air con unit only lets out 17c cold air in both lounge and bedroom literally dripping with sweat all night. Huge stains on ceiling in bedroom. The window lock/handle broken in the bathroom as well as the tap handle coming off every time want to turn it on. Couldn’t turn on overhead shower so had to hold the hand held shower part whilst washing my self. The seal on the shower door is broker at the top. The freezer door just falls of so can’t use the freezer..A little neglected as you can see, fingers crossed they fix these things for the up and coming season…
