My Lisbon Home Castelo

Excellent location, staff were excellent to attending needs, very clean and comfortable

Room was listed for 5 persons - I originally booked for 4, but asked for another person to come. Had I booked initially with booking .com ffor 5 persons then my price would have been an addition of the Portuguese persons room stay tax of 28 Euro. I was asked and needed to pay an extra 228 euro! Given the timing of the request I felt captured. Which was a shame because everything else was excellent - it was just landlord opportunism on price

If you want to be in the heart of Lisbon, this is the place. It is literally within the castle walls (which means you have to carry your suitcases up from where cars are allowed). What a treat - Old European charm with most modern amenities including Smart TV, aircon, full kitchen and washer. The place to stay next time we come to Lisbon!

Interesting location right next to the castle. Air conditioning worked well. Washing machine.

Very poorly equipped kitchen. I advised the owners for a sieve to drain pasta and wash lettuce; they responded that they supplied tongs - OK for spaghetti but not great for anything else. The quality of the house was average - quite old fashioned. Cannot use the key on the inside of the front door to double lock it, as it gets jammed and very hard to get out again. View from one of the rear windows was into the toilet area of the shop next door. Not pleasant.
