For those seeking a quiet retreat it is ideal for golfers and horse racing enthusiasts, close to West Lancashire, Royal Birkdale and many other championship golf courses. Aintree Race course, hosting the world famous Grand National and other race meetings, is only 15 minutes away.
There are lovely walks and stunning sunsets on the doorstep along the Sefton Coastal path, including Antony Gormley's renowned statues, 'Another Place', the red squirrels at Formby Nature Reserve (National Trust) and the Cheshire Lines cycle track.

Such a beautiful location. Short walk to the beach, which we enjoyed. Friendly people and upscale community. Hot tub water was clean and temperature was perfect. Host Lynne was very friendly and welcomed us immediately even though we arrived early. Home was immaculate and comfortable. it was nice having two bathrooms. Everything we needed was available. would absolutely love to stay here again next time we are in Liverpool for a game or getaway.

Our host was exceptional, she went out of her way to ensure our stay was indeed memorable. Her suggestions of things for us to enjoy along with the fact that the train station was a short walk away proved both convenient and affordable. The lodgings were spotless and very comfortable. We stayed for two weeks and it felt like home.

Had a lovely stay here. Everything was just as described! We went to the beach at sunset and took photos of the Gromleys statues which is literally steps away. The hot tub was also a welcome treat to test our weary bones in. Thank you again for an amazing stay

Local train station just down the road, with a good and frequent metro line service into Liverpool. No.local shop was the only disappointment

Enjoyed a comfortable short break at The Beach House, which was well equipped for our needs and tastefully furnished and decorated in a seaside theme. It is ideally located for Antony Gormley's 'Another Place' and the local railway into Liverpool and Southport.

We had booked for a family wedding in area. We’re late arriving on the Friday due to traffic but immediately felt comfortable and relaxed once through the front door. Both bed and sofa bed very comfortable and woke refreshed. Relaxing sitting on the patio despite dismal weather. Sadly only got to use the hot tub very briefly due to busy weekend. Lovely sunset walk on beach. Easy to check out for early start. Would book again when visiting area.

The garden and all the amenities are great. Lovely comfy beds and excellent bedding.Very warm and comfortable and hot tub a great treat. Great for coastal walks to little crosby and stopped off at the cricket ground for a few drinks and some food.

Fantastic Beach House very close to the shore, coast path and railway station. We enjoyed seeing Anthony Gormley's wonderful installations 'Another Place' at different times of the day/tide and visited Liverpool twice. the whole trip was absolutely fabulous. the House had everything we needed, fully stocked with pans and utensils for cooking. Garden was lovely with the hot tub and a nice view of the golf course. Lynn did everything she could to make our stay perfect and was an amazing host throughout. Nice easy walk to the beach and the train station which goes straight through to liverpool central. Couldn’t of had a better stay and can’t wait to visit again.

We arrived at the Beach House and were very, very impressed with the facilities, decor and (most importantly) peace & quiet. The lounge was very spacious and made you want to just sit and enjoy the calming space. Being so close to both the beach and the local train station, made it the ideal place to travel to/from. The host (Lynn) ensured our stay was very enjoyable (sorry I didn't meet you when you popped in). I'll certainly be re-booking for personal and business related visits.

The property is well placed just a short walk to the sea. The bed is very comfortable and all amenities well catered for, shower and toilets upstairs and down. Kitchen and dining area excellent and lounge very spacious and comfortable. Lynne was very helpful and provided us with a map for cycling in the area, we covered 50 miles in the three days here and enjoyed every minute. A lovely place to come back to.

The Beach House was a wonderful place. A lovely space inside and out with excellent views over the golf course and crosby beach, which is only a 2 minute walk. The railway station is a 5 minute walk, that we used on a number of occasions during our trip to get around. Would certainly stay again!

Perfect place to enjoy the peace of Crosby and located 5 minutes from the Hall Road Train Station, taking you direct into Liverpool City. The Beach House was very comfy and the Hot Tub was perfect. Can't comment about the cooking facilities because we didn't cook (phew!). Bed was so big and comfy and always handy having a downstairs toilet. The beach is just a 2 minute walk away and was lovely for an early evening stroll. The Host, Lynne went above and beyond making sure we were happy and we can't thank her enough. Would highly recommend this gem of place to anyone couple looking for a perfect time away.

We stayed for 2 nights and were delighted with the property and owner. It had everything we wanted and more. Took our own hamper of goodies as aware there was nothing within walking distance but could have breakfast etc supplied. The location was incredible a very short walk to the famous Crosby Beach and ‘another place’. Stunning sunsets and a place to sit sit and enjoy the views. The property was perfect for 2 of us and had everything we needed. The hot tub was an added delight as the views over the golf course and the sunset were fantastic with a glass of bubbly. We walked about 5 minutes to the train station to visit Formby Golf course for a competition but could have easily visited Southport or Liverpool without the hassle of parking. We ate locally at Mustard and Co which I can recommend. Thanks so much to the owner

The cottage was clean and quiet with a beautiful back garden. Note that you do need a car if you plan on easily exploring the area or need to do any shopping. We did not have a car and our host graciously drove me to the market to purchase groceries. There is a beautiful coastal walk on Crosby Beach where you can run, walk or cycle. You can also see the art installation, Another Place by Antony Gormley. All in all, it was a comfortable place to stay.

This was a wonderful experience. Great communication, and a lovely property. We could not ask for a nicer host. The apartment(attached to, but separate from the main house) is comfortable and well furnished. Kitchen had everything we needed. The location was wonderful, a short 5 minute walk to the Mertseyrail station, and a quick trip into town. We were back and forth multiple times. One note: there are no convenience stores nearby, so bring whatever supplies you need for the stay. We will definitely return.

We decided to book to stay here for the weekend as we’ve never been to Liverpool before. The neighbourhood is quiet and lovely, 5 minutes away from the beach. It is also a 5 minute walk to the train station so we decided to get the train into Liverpool! The accommodation is gorgeous, very clean, modern and spacious. The bed is soooo big and comfy! Our favourite part was the big garden and the hot tub, we thought it was beautiful and very relaxing. Overall we thoroughly loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again to explore Liverpool some more. Lynn is lovely and replies to her messages in a timely manner and has been very accommodating, we can’t thank her enough! If I could give it a higher rating I would☺️

Positives, could not have been a better location for visiting, Liverpool, Southport & Blackpool. Train service excellent. View from kitchen to garden was a real plus point, but not ideal had we been there longer as you share the garden with owner. The bed was very comfortable and the main room was a good size. Also as we arrived early and the cleaning had been done we were able to get in early. Negatives We had just spent 6 nights in Anglesey at a lesser cost with far more facilities included and it was also in first class decor. So a little disappointed when we arrived to find some items that were readily available at our last location (washing machine & freezer etc) seemed locked behind a door from the kitchen, you appeared to need to ask to use them unless you were staying for a week, which we were not, felt that for what we were charged these should have been an automatic inclusion and not have to ask to use them. We used the downstairs toilet more than the small shower room as we both kept hitting our head on the shelf above the small sink, also no drain smell downstairs. Lynne very kindly gave us some unblocking liquid to help stop the smell which happens due to being near the coast. Decor a bit on the tired side. We booked for 4 nights my personal opinion is 2 night stays ok but think carefully if you want to stay for longer. Also please read the terms and conditions before you book.

When we arrived we were so pleased with the space that the garden had to offer,but were a little surprised by the fact it was a communal garden to be shared with the attached main house. I realy dont remember reading that point? We had taken our 2 beagles with us, so were instantly concious that sharing the garden may be a little tricky. Once in the cottage it was well equiped for what we needed for our stay,the children were in the bedroom and myself and husband took the sofa bed,the sofa bed was not the most comfortable, but that is what happens with sofa beds,there was a issue with the tv as it kept lossing channels and we had to retune it twice on our 2 night stay. When I was showering one morning the shower completely stopped when someone flushed the downstairs loo,maybe this was beacuae its run off a combi boiler for entire house including main house ?? Would have been more annoying if we had been staying longer. On reading the owners request for guests whilst staying, it states that dogs are not permitted to pee or toilet in the garden, dont get me wrong I totally agree with toileting as there are beautiful walks literally on the doorstep,but to request for them not to pee is a tall ask,as dogs are dogs and will pee to cover other dogs smell(the owner has a dog and it is obviously allowed in the garden) with this in mind we were very concious over this issue and did not use the garden as much as we would have liked as the weather was beautiful during our stay and to have breakfast etc on the decking would have been lovely. With these little issue we probably wouldnt return to the "beach house" in the future,which is a shame as like I say in the title it was perfectly located for us meeting up with friends and enjoying some coastal walks.The owner of the property was very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay, starting with a warm welcome form Lynne. Everything was clean plus the bed was very comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub which was very easy to use. The property is absolutely stunning, situated a 5 minute walk from the beach and in a lovely peaceful area. The bed was very comfy and the little extra touches like tea, coffee, milk etc really made you feel at home. The hot tub was amazing and very easy to use. Lynne was a brilliant host and with her being just next door, she is on hand for anything you may need. Wonderful place and really recommend.
