Suite Veronica

Suite Veronica is a comfortable and spacious apartment in San Polo providing an easy walk to many attractions, restaurants, shopping and a grocery store yet in a location away from all the crowds. There is also a convenient gondola stand right outside the door of the apartment. The apartment was very clean and well maintained with a great view of Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. The host was wonderful to work with and her communications were timely before and during our stay. She was kind enough to let us store our luggage prior to check-in while we explored the city. She left written instructions on the table for us, which was very helpful. If you're not familiar with Venice or Italy, they are very diligent about sorting their garbage. Even though the separate bins were well marked, we had some questions about them, and our questions were quickly answered. Many thanks Margherita for making our stay a memorable one. I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Venice.

I see others have commented that the couch is low to the floor. Although I didn't think it would bother me, it certainly was noticeable.

Everything was so clean and neat. Very well equipped. Perfect location. AMAZING views. Host excellent and helpful.

Very spacious and comfortable flat in the heart of San Polo - easy to walk anywhere in Venice, less crowded and touristy than San Marco (accepting that is a really low bar). Good local amenities - bars, restaurants, grocery store, self-service laundrette not too far away. Easy to contact the hosts. Generally very quiet and peaceful. Rock solid wi-fi. Plenty of storage space, so you don't feel you are living out of your suitcase. Marvellous view from the lounge. Generally well stocked flat - loads of towels, enough complimentary coffee and jam, cotton buds and make-up remover pads (!), loved the shampoo :)

No real problems, but for completeness: - some slight noise from the nearby bar on one Saturday, but nothing to really complain about (and we were there for ten days and there was no noise the other weekend) - there could have been more bin bags and dishwasher tablets. But that seems par for the course - if you are really self-catering plan to take some of these with you, wherever you are staying

The very best location. The hosts simply could not do enough for you. Their local knowledge saved me so much time with recommendations and organising the taxi boat back to the airport.
