Caroline lodging

We had a very nice 5 days here. There's definitely a hostel/hiker vibe which was very cool. We always had someone to talk to at breakfast or go on some hikes with. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a real highlight. Every day we had something different prepared fresh for us, eggs, pancakes or waffles etc. and the bread served at breakfast was probably the best we had anywhere in Peru. The biggest positive was the friendliness of the staff and the great advice given by Paul (the owner) about what hikes to do and how to handle the logistics. He helped us arrange Laguna 69 and Laguna 513 and a few other day trips while we were there so the stress of trying to find a ride was taken away. He must have done everything a hundred times because he knows the area very well.

- staff are very friendly - can check-in in the morning after night bus, also offers breakfast when we arrived in the first day morning - hot water - clean environment

- I'm online tutor, had to use video call. And Wi-Fi not very stable, sometimes had to connect with my own internet
