Casa de Ana B&B

It’s a little far from the center of town but it is nice and quiet area! No issue walking there at night as a single woman. The employees were so nice and the rooms were cleans and a great deal! For the purse they would pack a small breakfast to go and it was absolutely delicious!!

I booked excursions with señora Ana and it was a little disorganized. I didn’t get the information for the tours until last minute. No company names were given and meeting times were given late.

Hot water for drinking and for showering was available 24 hr. Good price for solo travelers who want to stay in a quiet single room. The host Ana herself also runs a travel agency that helps with employment of local women, and she can help travelers with planning day trips and transportation.

The single room and the restroom were somehow small, so I had to squeeze myself to use the toilet.

Our bus unexpectedly arrived very early in the morning and I messaged the B&B on WhatsApp and they let us check in early and catch up on sleep right away. The beds are very comfortable, we didn't hear any noise from the street from our room. The toilets/showers are clean and have hot water at all times. There is a roof terrace where breakfast is served (they helpfully accommodated us with a vegetarian diet). The staff are all very friendly and it feels like a family run business. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the main part of town but there are multiple cafes etc less than 5 minutes walk from the B&B. The WiFi was good too.

Everyone working there was lovely, very responsive to queries and were really helpful. Breakfast was made to take away whenever we had an early start which was great!
