Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the variety of eggs/ pancakes each morning and appreciated the early breakfast before one of our tours. The location was great, next to a little park, in a quieter area outside of the centre. It was walkable from the bus stop. We also arranged two tours through the hostel, which was convenient.
We hadn't been given a receipt on payment for our stay, and staff on a different shift questioned whether we had paid, which was awkward. We will remember to ask for receipts in future. The shower in our room was very poor - whilst warm, it only gave a trickle of water. Other than the eggs, the instant coffee was of poor quality and bread was often very dry. The kitchen could only be used after 4pm.

Nice and comfortable. Breakfast was standard - we either had pancakes or eggs and bread. The staff were super helpful and managed to find us transport to the start of our Huayhuash hike when other travel agencies had been unable to. The hostel was clean and perfectly located.
