Mary & Paul at Cayesh are the kindest people, and speak both English and Spanish. They are a staple in Huaraz, often hosting groups of Peace Corps volunteers, and the guest house is in an excellent location, just a few short minutes from a lot of the touristy/"gringo" restaurants. I've been working/coming to Huaraz region since 2011, and also enjoy my time at Cayesh...! You'll be safe, and well taken care of.

The staff, Paul and Mary, were so welcoming and friendly. Paul, a mountaineer, was super helpful with recommendations for hikes and day walks. The bed was comfortable and the internet worked well. Breakfast was great, and the coffee was top-notch and freshly made. Plenty of space to dry out a wet tent or air out sweaty boots. Perfect spot for before or after heading into the hills!
No issues with the room or property.
