Rooms were comfortable and the staff were all great and helpful. Having breakfast included was a great plus. Easy to coordinate rides as needed. The hostel was able to hold our bags whole we completed a 9-day trek. Allowed us ti travel worry-free!
A little noisy at night in the neighborhood, but nothing out of the ordinary for the area in general.

Such a welcoming hostel from both the guests and the family running it. It's a great place to meet other hikers. Breakfast and fresh coffee on the rooftop with views of the mountains was a highlight of the day. It's just a 10 minute walk into the town centre. The dorm was small and often it was just me in there. I felt sad to leave.
Not a problem for me but just be aware that it can be quiet in the evenings as people are often going to/coming from the big treks.

Everything! Chris and his family do very well at running this hostel. Chris and the team were always happy to help with anything, the room and bed was very comfy, we got a little oil heater to keep us warm and a decent bathroom. We struggled to secure an airport shuttle for the early morning out so Chris’s mum drove us instead to help us out. Chris also does lots of tours from the hostel so make sure to ask him before booking anywhere else :)

Such a cosy and welcoming environment, we’ve felt completely at home here and extended our stay for an extra week! Family run hostel and everyone who works here are SO kind and helpful. Chris was always on hand to answer questions about hikes and give advice. Kitchen is well equipped and has a filter for drinking water. Our room was clean and warm and the bed was really comfortable. Hot showers that never run cold. Simple but delicious breakfast offered every morning on the rooftop (with beautiful views over the Cordillera). A real home away from home, they even have a fire that’s lit on chilly evenings. HIGHLY recommend staying here!
Not much bad to say really… there were building works next door that could be a little disruptive during the day but that’s no fault of the hostel.
