The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. Communication before check-in was excellent and so check-in was completely straightforward. The property is in a gated community, with 24x7 patrols and guarded entry/exit, so is very safe. Very close to the New Harbour and restaurants and the west end of the Hermanus Cliff Path (which is a stunningly beautiful walk!). Very handy for the whale watching boat trips Short drive or Uber ride into town. Everything worked as it should.

This is not even a dislike but the property is on the outer edge of the main residential areas of own, so you need to take sensible South Africa precautions like driving or using Uber taxis after dark. I must stress however that this gated community is very safe and there was no time that we ever felt in danger.

Coral Tree is quite spacious and so one is comfortable in the available space. It is located in a secure complex and once you have done the initial security processes, access and egress is easy. It is well located to the main attractions of Hermanus and so distance covered in Hermaunus are relatively short.

The plot immediately opposite Coral Tree is currently being developed. It is not really ideal to go away for a break and be located directly opposite a construction site.

Location was ok.
