Needs decorating. a bit tired Needs new floor tiles. a lot are chipped Broken toilet seat. Cleaning not up to standard dust on shelves and surfaces in living area and kitchen drawers and cupboards were dirty.

perfect for our overnight stay in Troyes. Easy parking on the street, 25 minutes walk into the center. very good value.

• Parking: We travelled by car and the property was easy to find via GPS coordinates. Free parking was available on the street in front of the property. • Keys: This was a basement studio which was accessed via stairs to the left. Instructions to collect the keys from the lock box was sent in advance, and it was easy to follow. • First impression: Once inside the property, it felt like a modern flat with skylights to let the light in. The lights in the hallway and bathroom were activated by sensor and went off on their own. • Kitchen & Bathroom: The apartment was well furnished with a well-equipped kitchen with all kitchen amenities such as an air-fryer, microwave, coffee maker and fridge freezer. The toilet was separate from the bathroom. There was a modern shower with 3 settings for the handheld shower, overhead shower and shower jets from the sides. • Bedroom: The whole apartment was openplan, with the double bed in a nook adjacent to the living room separated by a curtain for privacy. The sofa bed was in the living room and it was easy to setup at night and fold away in the day. The linen was clean with generous supply of clean towels. • Amenities: There was free wifi, with a lot of indoor board games that we played with. There was also a huge, big screen TV with access to Netflix. • Conclusion: We just needed a comfortable accommodation for the night for a family of four, and this property met all our expectations, and we would be happy to stay there on our next visit.

Overnight in Troyes en route to the South

Studio apartment in the basement of a single storey building, L’insolite was clean, functional and great value; ideal for travellers passing through. Hand soap, clean good quality towels & kitchen essentials were all provided. Large fridge and dishwasher both in good working order. WiFi superb. Plenty of space for 2 adults. Some nice decorative touches to make the place feel cosy. The bed is set up in an alcove with curtains to separate from the rest of the studio; felt a bit enclosed but absolutely fine for 1 night. The bathroom has an adequate shower (with curtain) and a nice vanity sink unit. The toilet is separate, small and ok. Neighbours all friendly. Lidl is a few minutes walk away- check opening times if you need supplies. All in all a good, restful stop-over as we head further south.

Bien mais difficile d'y dormir

Place de parking gratuit, isolé des bruits, autonome pour l'arrivée. Beaucoup de jeux pour enfants (puzzle en bois, livres, Lego...).

Les matelas du lit et du canapé convertible sont fins et durs, difficile d'y dormir dessus. Lumière de la salle de bain qui s'éteint alors qu'on prend une douche.

Un grand studio en sous-sol, spacieux, bien équipé, lumineux : une bonne adresse !

Un charmant studio, lumineux bien qu'il soit en sous-sol du souplex, équipements et décorations modernes. Nous avions tout le nécessaire pour notre séjour (linge de maison, linge de lit, etc.). Accès facile, bien aménagé, literie confortable, lieu propre, jouets pour les enfants. Comme à la maison. Hôte avenant et accueillant. Super communication. Je recommande chaleureusement. Nous y reviendrons à l'occasion.

Prima adres om te overnachten op de terugweg vanuit zuid Frankrijk.

De ligging is prima. Je kunt er heel goed parkeren en dichtbij supermarkt en eet- en drinkgelegenheden. Prima douche en heerlijk bed!

De bank zit niet lekker 🙃
