Superb! We would love to come back again!

Incredible place! So many little surprises – a historic house right in the cathedral courtyard, with the bells ringing every hour. The apartment has everything you need, plus two wonderful double beds with great mattresses. We had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the fridge, which we had pre-ordered. The host sent us a perfect and very detailed guide, not only about the apartment but also about the city and surroundings – really valuable.

A couple of things to keep in mind: there’s a staircase in the house with a few flights. We were traveling with two teenagers, and one of them slept on a fold-out bed – don’t forget to request a set of bed linen for it.

Beautiful location. Lovely bathroom. Super soft bed sheets. Good communication with hosts.

Message I received about entry into the apartment was not accurate. Thankfully host was responsive via the telephone to sort the correct way in. Sofa bed drops down at the end, causing an odd sleeping position. Ok for a couple of nights though.

Clean quiet comfortable and a hidden gem in an amazing city

Very lovely hidden property opposite the cathedral so quiet and beautiful area. The apartment I had was clean bright and comfortable and such a great find for a very good price. Would recommend anyone to stay here. The host was very responsive and helpful too

We had a very enjoyable stay in a good location.

The location was on a quiet street near the cathedral and very convenient for the main town area. There was a free car park just 5 minutes walk away. The apartment was light, airy and well equipped. It was a good size to use as a base for sightseeing or as a stop over. The host was very responsive and helpful.

The location was good, close to the historic town yet not too busy. Very nice garden area with table and chairs. The bathroom was large with a large shower and lots of hot water

Humble accommodation in central and calm situation.

Location good and calm.

Nobody greeted us nor responded to our telephone call or text on arrival. On secure parking. Garden not as projected on your site, a total misrepresentation (see photo below). Quality of bed linen, pillows and kitchen utensils very poor. Key lock on front door was impossible to open by my wife as she has not the strength in her hands owing to arthritic conditions.

Disappointing

The location was very convenient; we could walk to everything. The neighborhood was quiet. The apartment was just right for 2 people. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was well heated.

The entry way was through a very old and dark hallway. The garden courtyard was unusable, it was unkept and full of weeds. Only one electric outlet in the kitchen area that accommodates only one plug in at a time. To use an appliance such as toaster, hot pot etc. you have to unplug one to plug in another appliance. Cooking pots and cutlery inadequate. The apartment could use a general update.

The location, next to the Cathedrale and walking distance to old city, really nice apartment, spacious and well equipped, good shower, kitchen etc/ Comfy beds. Tranquillity radiates from this place!

when we arrived the key locker code did not work, and it took some time to get hold of the right one. We were compensated for the wait with a small bottle of champagne. If not for this hick-up the property would rate at a 9!

Charming, quiet apartment in historic city.

This charming apartment in a very quiet part of the city near the Cathedral was ideal for our visit, particularly with secure/gated parking. It is very well equipped, and the owner very helpful and friendly, and happy to advise if you need information about Troyes. Ideal for one-night or a longer stay. We would happily return.

There are a number of doors/stairs to get to the accommodation which might be difficult for some when transferring luggage etc., although makes you feel safe, ultimately!

Great apartment in good location

A very nice apartment just around the corner of the cathedral. The owner was very friendly and had good advice for nice restaurants. We even got a bottle of champagne. There is also an outside area (quiet courtyard). The apartment was very clean and tidy.

Le propriétaire m’avait confirmé qu’il y aurait bien un lit bébé, or ce n’était pas le cas. Il n’y avait qu’un vieux futon sur lequel personne ne voudrait dormir. Nous avons du trouver une solution d’urgence. Le propriétaire n’a pas répondu quand je l’ai contacté à ce sujet. De plus l’appartement ne possède pas de détecteur de fumée (il semble avoir été enlevé). Nul besoin de préciser que ce logement est donc en situation irrégulière, en plus d’être un risque vital aux voyageurs.

La localisation, la beauté de l’appartement, la propreté. Tout était prêt alors que nous avions réservé 3h avant. C’était fabuleux de pouvoir faire tout à pied. Parking à proximité, il y a beaucoup de places.

Alles klopte hier gewoon: - locatie vlakbij het centrum, maar heel rustig, met makkelijke parkeergelegenheid - duidelijke instructies voor de toegang - inrichting en uitrusting van het appartement - de vlotte communicatie met de host en de poetsvrouw (om het vertrekuur te regelen)

Voor ons was de matras van het dubbele bed een beetje te hard, maar voor 1 nacht was het OK.
