We had a lovely time at the Barn, everything you need is laid out very well, from board games to smart TV and a kitchen that was fully stocked with all the essential items you could need, the fire place was a personal favourite. The neighbours (a field of sheep) were great to see each day. All of the beds were extra comfy even the small extra beds laid out fie the kids. To say the place was stunning is an understatement and as good as the pictures look it us even better in person. The only thing is the location is alittle off the beaten track, but that being said I would 100% return. It would be amazing to get supplies and just hunker down and forget about the outside world. In summary the barn was amazing

Idyllic peaceful countryside holiday
Idyllic peaceful countryside holiday
We’ve just come back from a fantastic stay at the barn. It was a very welcome sight to arrive to the property after a seven hour non-stop journey. Our first impressions were that we very impressed by the standard of the property, its cosiness and fully equipped. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and even the children were happy to cook there! The outdoor garden is beautiful and has stunning views of the countryside. There are lots of indoor games, of which, we enjoyed playing cards, amongst others. The outdoor space was fantastic for the children to play in, We took ‘snap-it’, which offered endless hours of fun with made up games in conjuction with the property’s Giant Jenga. The bedrooms are a fantastic size, beds are very comfortable and great bathrooms Recommendations We would definitely recommend researching where you would like to go to visit in advance, then plot the locations on Google Maps and visit the attractions in one area in one day, if possible. You definitely need to book attractions probably two weeks in advance. We highly recommend: Gigrin farm Cantref horse riding Welsh lavender farm Newquay beach. We tried to book paddleboarding on the beach but it is booked up over one week in advance. Just a note that the shops may close earlier than expected. So maybe worth checking out opening times. We recommend the Tesco shop to the house the day after you arrive. Alternatively, the Co-op in Llandovery is very well-stocked. If you’re into photography, recommend waking up at around 5 a.m. to enjoy the low-lying mist over the valley. In the evening, sit on picnic mats on the grass to avoid being bitten. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at such a beautiful property with lovely neighbours and fantastic scenery. We felt very welcome and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be visiting Wales again as a holiday destination and are recommending this property too.

The place is beautiful and well equipped, including lots of info and suggestions for things to do in the local area. The garden was beautiful and even ended up being the venue for our friends getting engaged - so definitely a place to remember :)

We had a super week staying here, great space for us and the kids to run around, and they loved the sheep as neighbours. Lazy days, some kite flying and some walks too, just what we needed! Thank you.

Extremely comfortable. The beds are wonderful, the barn is spacious, warm and full of things to occupy one on a rainy day. A cosy family dwelling in wonderful countryside. If you want a space to unwind, to step off the treadmill of life this is the place. You will return home totally relaxed and chilled.

Beautiful conversion - good access to walks
Beautiful conversion - good access to walks
Really nice property. Fantastic conversion. Also some interesting history on the owners and their personal life and input into the property. Some good forest walks close by. Loads of info on local routes. Prepare with some bulk shopping before going as the choices locally are under repair or carry basics only. Not a problem if you are aware in advance. Would consider coming back in the future.
