Everything about our stay was positive. Everything about the food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional in the evening and at breakfast. The room we stayed in was perfectly clean, fresh and comfortable. It was a perfectly relaxing night away.

Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep. The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them.

A lovely stay for our hike on pen y fan. While 28min from the mountain, it was a perfect place to stay for a safe clean, friendly nights stay. The restaurant was delicious and the staff was so very friendly. Very interesting paintings on the walls, parrots on the property. It was super lovely

The hotel was unique and quirky, the decor was completely different to anything else and a lot of thought and effort had gone into the individuality of the rooms! Bed was so comfy and the rain shower was so refreshing…..after a long wet walk up Pen Y Fan it was more than appreciated! Had a breakfast and an evening meal in the Peny Cae Inn, which we couldn’t fault in anyway, the food was amazing and the staff were so attentive and welcoming it was lovely!! Overall a truly wonderful stay and would highly reccomend!

What can I say, we had a very nice stay at the sleeping giant. The room was modern, warm and comfortable. The bedding washood quality, nice and clean. Good comfy pillows. luxury shower. Staff were really nice and attentive, the breakfast was very nice.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was lovely with high end furnishings and facilities and large enough for our family of four. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food at the pub was delicious and the animals were a particular highlight for our children as well, especially Ronnie and Reggie, the talking parrots. The hotel was well located with ample parking and there was plenty to do within close distance, including the Show Caves which was a great day out. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Sleeping Giant. Check in was easy and straightforward, the room was of exceptionally high standard with attention to detail and everything thought of for the customer. Plenty of choice for evening meal which was again of high standard and the staff were knowledgeable, courteous and very friendly. Good choice for breakfast, again of very good quality and reasonably priced. Location was absolutely perfect, complete with a mini zoo. Owners should be proud of what they have achieved. Would definitely recommend, and will be visiting again, several times

I have stayed at the Sleeping Giant several times. All the rooms are superb, and having a great restaurant is a bonus. I have stayed in different rooms; the bigger ones are really special. All have air conditioning and outdoor sitting areas. The area around is also stunning.

Excellent location to visit many parts of Bannu and waterfalls.The room was an excellent size, clean and to a high standard. The bed was so comfortable, no issues at all. There is a lovely little zoo which is free to walk around and there is a pub which serves food; breakfast is available at an extra charge. Highly recommend, will return.

An absolute gem of a find. Beautifully designed and finished to the highest spec. Everything you could ever need. Pub on site which has such a warm friendly environment with excellent food. The Zoo is worth a visit and free too (donations to support it). Great for walks. The waterfalls are spectacular. We will definitely be back.

Very stylish apartment and comfortable bed with good amenities and supplies. The only downside is that the toilet just has a stable door, with no other door between bathroom and bedroom. So not much privacy in that regard. The lights are also quite complicated with a blue light on the switch that permanently flashes. Otherwise a lovely stay with a nice pub next door.

Our stay at the sleeping giant was amazing from start to finish, the room was beautiful had all the mod cons and was very clean and cosy, had a kettle with a variety of tea and coffee and also had bottles of water and biscuits. The shower was wonderful really warm and also had air-con in the room. We went for dinner in the pub next door the Penycae Inn , the service was wonderful all staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, food was really good, Anthony and staff were amazing definitely will come back in the future, also had a mini zoo onsite and only a short drive from a beautiful waterfall walk 10 stars from the kids and ourselves.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, everything was modern and brand new, the room was very spacious. The skylight in the ceiling was a great addition to see the stars. Thank you to Anthony the owner of the accommodation and the restaurant, was so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was to much. He is a great chef, the food was amazing. The accommodation is in a beautiful area with amazing walks, not far from attractions. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend to stay here and look forward to our return

Very confusing checkin process as it wasn't mentioned anywhere in the communication that one would need to check-in at the nearby pub (the pub itself is very good though, highly recommended!). The property itself is nicely decorated and looks exactly like the photos. One major issue we encountered during our stay was that there was a very loud intermittent humming/whirring noise throughout the night ...

We had a beautiful room with a gorgeous shower and a lovely skylight over the bed. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. On the night we stayed, they were hosting a wedding, plus a private function but they made sure we were well looked after for our evening meal and the food was perfect! A lovely zoo to have a wander around too - we were really impressed and will definitely be returning!
