Vale Farm Cottages

Really lovely pool, hot tub and the place we stayed in had a lovely sitting room with a balcony and good views! Fully equipped kitchen, everything we needed! Brought our own spices. Owner was very nice and allowed us to use a fan from a different room- usually you’re not allowed.

Dogs need to be kept on lead at all times, he was okay in the small area near the houses, but there’s no walks nearby unless you drive elsewhere to go for a dog walk. Bedroom has two small doubles, me and my partner ended up sleeping in a bed each as it got too hot sleeping in one together. Also charges apply for dog hair, which I was not aware of when booking as I saw it was dog friendly. Also has an all four paws on the floor policy which was very hard to upkeep as our dog was used to sleeping on the couch at home. Would have been helpful to know these things regarding our dog when booking, as we would have just come on our own.

Clean, comfortable and good value for money. Good location as well.

Very steep drive in and out which was not too much of an issue for me but might be difficult for some but worth being aware
