The location was excellent, very close to the centre of Abergavenny. Car parking was easy, with access to the public car park very close. The facilities were as described.
The bed was far too soft.
The soundproofing between the flats was very poor. We were twice woken up in the middle of the night with what sounded like a "herd of elephants" tramping around above our heads. The whole of the flat rocked. This seemed to be more due to the construction of the flat, rather than the behaviour of the other residents.

The two apartments are remotely managed. The location in lively Abergavenny town centre (near the iconic Angel Hotel) is excellent, and a good job has been done renovating what is probably a c.200-year-old house. The decor is attractive and the kitchen is pretty good. But attention to detail is lacking, and some features are really quite irritating during a long-ish stay (four days in our case).
The beds are awful, as other people have reported, the floors creak horribly, and the automatic door closer slams unless you're very careful! Consumables like liquid soap and coffee are left to run out, pepper-pot provided but never filled, parking details are out-of-date. The owner is very responsive when told specifics, but the feedback people write here doesn't seem to get actioned. For instance, the lack of a bread knife was reported by "Bridget" over a year ago.

Spacious and comfortable in a great central location.
Beds were very comfortable.
There was a washing machine provided but there were no laundry pods. Luckily it was only 10 min walk to tesco.

Great location near centre of town, apartment was comfortable and clean
The noise from upstairs was awful and made it very difficult to relax or sleep. The host had said you could park on the pavement outside. This is not true as there are bollards. We were also told that nearby parking was less than £5 overnight, it’s actually £7. The mattresses were too soft for me.
