What a fabulous place! A well equipped property with an abundance of necessary items. The beds were nice and comfortable with ample warm covers , also plenty of towels were provided. We didn't experience any problems with the water pressure, but then again, there were only 4 of us staying We loved the walk to the waterfall from the chapel . Our trip to the Afan bike centre took us through the awesome Rhondda valley 😎. So glad we chose this property for our mini holiday. The pool table was a hit with all of us , especially as we had one full day of rain! Once we got to grips with the thermostats and switches , the chapel was adequately heated for us and it was a very comfortable stay. We will definitely be back , for a longer vacation next time !!

We chose St Albans Church as a location to celebrate milestone birthdays with the family. It had everything we look for - several bathrooms, alternative seating areas so we can spread out a bit, something to entertain the kids and a location that's not too remote as we do like to have easy access to a shop. Arranging access was easy with a key safe code provided and the directions were clear. On arrival the property was warm and welcoming bottles of milk and wine were left for us. There was not quite as much credit on the gas meter as we expected, but a quick phone call to Jason remedied this and a few other things that needed attention the next day. Unfortunately it took a couple of days to fix the spa bath that we had all been looking forward to trying, but it was worth the wait when we finally got to enjoy the bubbles after a long walk on the only dry day. Access to Netflix and an XBox was probably the highlight of the teens' week, although we all enjoyed playing pool and doing some of the provided jigsaws as well. We didn't get out and about much as the weather was not great, but that's to be expected in Wales during March and we had a very relaxing time. It was worth the walk to the waterfalls and the museum in Swansea was interesting. A great property for a relaxing week away with no pressure to be out and about everyday was just what we wanted and what we got!

Excellent holiday, good location with plenty to do in the close surrounding areas. water pressure is can be an issue but only if you are using multiple showers at the same time, if one at a time then all is good. Sun is at the front all day long so we did not use the back. Pool table kept the teenagers entertained, although we did need to glue the pocket on to stop it falling off and large table meant we could all gather round as a large family, however the table is in need of some attention as anything wet sticks to it mostly our monopoly cards. Couldn't find the gas card as not in the place as per booklet, however we did find it by the gas meter, the meter mistakenly said it was as 0p so we put £25 on to then find it already had £20, no big deal, but do ensure you put the card in first to see what is on. 2 fridges and 2 freezers were ideal to store a big families needs. Overall we had great fun at the Church, the weather meant we could use the front which is safe for kids and dogs, a few beach days out, you could take your pick depending how long you wanted to travel we did Tenby which was 1.5hrs but our other beach trip was just over 30mins. Bowling and animal farm were within 30mins. Also some great walks to the waterfalls which again you can take your pick depending on how far you wanted to walk. Would recommend as a great family holiday stay.

It was just what we wanted. Plenty of communal room to enjoy with every facility to relax or be together in the kitchen/dining area. Lovely place to stay keeping the tradition of the church and a great new modern environment.

Beautiful converted church and very good for large families due to the space on offer. The underfloor heating works well but for the older generations blankets were needed over their backs as it did get a bit drafty at night (but we were also there in December). The TV in the lounge is brilliant but we couldn’t get any of the other TVs to work (or find a remote for the one in the master bedroom). Everyone agreed that the beds were super comfy and it’s clear that high quality mattresses have been invested in. We did struggle making a large Christmas dinner in the small oven (2 shelves) which we were surprised by due to the enormity of the kitchen and also as that the owners have very thoughtfully out in 2 fridges and 2 freezers. There were plenty of pots, pans, plates etc all very clean and ready to use. We scored the location low as whilst we were there we had awful winter weather and we found there was not much to do if walking isn’t an option.
