It was clean and prepared on time
The property didn't offer what was in the description.
There was no washing machine or tumble dryer as listed.
The details did not inform me that the jacuzzi was a log burner one. It took 45 minutes to fill it up and after 3 hours of the log burner on it still didn't heat up. There was inadequate lighting outside and it felt unsafe.
The staff were not helpful and when I express my dissatisfaction about the above, they told me it was my fault and I should have checked details on their website.
You could not see the tv as on was blocked by a supporting pillar.

A mix of modern and historic features set inside the property, cosy feel with amazing Mountain View across the valley
For quite a tall person the bed frame restricted comfort at the feet end because off the bars but that’s the only negative.

The cottage was gorgeous and very tastefully presented. Loved the Christmas decorations and the extra touches left by the hosts. My daughter was thrilled with the Gingerbread House!
Nothing! Fantastic accommodation for our stay in Cwmbach.

We had a lovely stay at the Melyn cottage. Everything felt carefully thought out, with attention to detail throughout. The kitchen was well equipped and of a high standard, the living room was warm and comfortable, and the bedroom was cozy. The heated floors were excellent and kept the whole place nicely warm.
We especially appreciated the bathroom essentials provided, including a toothbrush, which was a thoughtful touch as we had forgotten ours. The view from the cottage was stunning, and just a short walk down the road we found a beautiful woodland trail along an old railway.
The location is very close to the Brecon Beacons, and the hosts were welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. The area itself is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
Nothing, it was perfect!

The studio had recently been refurbished and it was very comfortable. All the necessary facilities and equipment.
Unfortunately we are 79 and are nor capable of mastering latest technology so were unable to use the 'Firefly' TV so could only watch BBC i player.

The cottage was quaint but with modern fixtures and fittings. It was spotlessly clean and perfect for one couple and two children or single friends or family
Great views and private patio and bbq area
The property is being further developed so owner is doing building works including using noisy electrical tools in early evening when we wanted to relax in quiet surroundings

The cottage was beautiful, very home from home. It was clean, the beds were comfortable. Shower was hot and powerful. The scenery was stunning and the children loved the tree swing.
The big spider in the sink. We named him Steve and re-located him outside so that he didn't eat our food or get too comfortable on the sofa.

Old stone building with recently updated soft furnishings. Comfortable beds. Large shower. Outdoor seating with views across the valley.
Underfloor heating.
There is an electric gate to get into the property and we weren't given the code until the second evening, when we couldn't get out! Ended up having to go back to the cottage to get phone numbers (which weren't answered) and access WiFi to send a message through Booking.com.
We requested beds to be made up as a double and they were two singles. I messaged the owner asking if they could be changed, she said the request hadn't been passed on by the previous owner. No offer to change them.
Very noisy youngsters skidding a car on the gravel and swearing on the first evening.
There was no information pack, just phone numbers and WiFi code.

Very cute. Near to ZipWorld, (the point of our trip). Everything that we needed for a comfy stay. Bit hard to find and additional directions would have been helpful.

Although our arrival was a bit confusing and we only introduced ourselves to the hosts the next day, everything turned out absolutely fine. The owners were warm and welcoming, and once we settled in, we had a lovely, peaceful stay.
They’ve only been running the place for four months, but they’re clearly putting in a huge amount of work to make the site even better, from adding a stylish common room with stunning views to building eco pods and setting up ice baths. It’s exciting to see how the place is evolving!
The cottage itself was cosy, clean, and well-equipped. We loved the quiet surroundings and the views over the valley. Definitely a place with heart, and a lot of potential.

I liked the view and the fact that the bedding smelled so lovely. I liked the little patio and the small windows and the beautiful mountain view from the bedroom window. I absolutely fell in love with the stone walls around the property and cosy low ceilings. Water was warm in the shower and plenty of utensils to choose from in the kitchen.
I didn't like the fact that the bedroom door was very hard to shut (latch wasn't fitting in properly). I also did not like the fact there were no curtain to give privacy to the person sleeping in the open space upstairs (despite the fact there was an old attachment at the ceiling). I didn't like the fact we were not given the code to the gate to enter the property and had to call the owner twice in order to get the code. For such a price I would also expect not to see the fake artificial grass at the patio outside the cottage - it is better just to leave plain stones rather than artificial grass. It just spoiled the natural look. I did not like the noise of renovations at the property, there were builders walking around when I was trying to read a book at the patio. Once I even seen an owner with a very long machete type of knife walking past me when I was sitting with my pyjamas on the patio. Window in the bathroom could not open as there was no way of reaching so high (it was very hot that week) so no ventilation when using the toilet. Also, there was plenty of dust on the bathroom floor.

Great location and a good place to stay. Good people. Was everything we needed for a lads walking holiday. Very close to the Brecon Beacons.
Limited kitchenware i.e no spatula or cooking oil etc things you would not think to bring with you. But not a big deal we managed. Noisy neighbours in the other rooms and a lot of dogs barking but it is a working farm so to be expected.

Lovely decor, views and staff!
Exceptionally noisy. Cars blowing their horns, dogs barking etc after 1 am. No noise insulation from the room above..

Clean and tidy pod
Lots of building/renovation works around for new accommodations.
When weather is hot there is no aircon. To cool the pod down and if doors and windows left open you get bitten by the mosquitos

The Luxury Glamping Pod was lovely with an amazing view over the valley. The site was peaceful and in the morning you could sit on the terrace and listen to the birds singing.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower was extremely good.
The cupboards were well stocked with lots of matching crockery.
I was very impressed with the gift of balloons for my son's birthday. A lovely personal touch.
We were unable to connect to the WiFi.

Lovely location. Comfortable. Great shower. Had everything we needed.
Wasn’t anything we didnt like but could do with a smaller frying pan as the one that’s supplied takes up most of the hob.

There was a lot of noise filtering from the accommodation above. When I contacted the new owner to raise this I was very impressed with her response. Despite this being the first day that she took over the running she prioritised swapping me into one of the other properties there, which was much quieter.

Perfect location for exploring the Breacons and surrounding area, or just sitting out in the sunshine enjoying the mountain views. Looking forwards to returning again later in the year.

The view was incredible. The owners gave a brilliant list of things to do in the area, so even despite the bad weather we were still kept very busy! The room was really cute and had everything we needed for our stay.
The owners were really lovely and even posted back a phone that we accidentally left in the room.
We'd definitely stay here again.
The guests upstairs were quite noisy and had a dog that ran around all night, so I'd recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper and in one of the downstairs cottages.
