Excellent property, lovely stay.

Everything! Quirky property but in a good way. Amazing decor, interesting property layout, huge rooms and a fun hidden bar in the cellar.

That i only stayed one night and didn't get to make the most of the property. Some people may dislike that you can't park directly outside, but we found parking easily for two vans.

Perfect wee little town house in the centre of Thirsk.

The location was perfectly central for our needs. It was immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. Warm and homely. The bedding was obviously high quality which was hugely appreciated after a very long day at my cousin's wedding at Thirsk Lodge Barn.

I would have scored this property a ten, only one point lost over not fully sorted with tea and coffee making facilities. One of the images used in advertising showed a welcome basket - I did not expect one of those for a one night stay, but some milk and quality coffee and enough t bags to go round would have made the experience perfect. All I wanted when I got in was a lovely cuppa, and a coffee in the morning.

This is a hidden gem. We absolutely loved our stay here. Spotlessly clean with beautiful decor/facilities. Could have stayed here for a week or more.

An exceptional stay in Thirsk, outstanding comfort, cleanliness, facilities, and a perfect location

Our property in Thirsk was absolutely fantastic in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that no detail had been overlooked — the facilities were excellent, the cleanliness was immaculate, and the level of comfort made it feel like a true home away from home. The property was thoughtfully equipped with all the home comforts you could need, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. Its location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful setting, and the cute little courtyard outside space was just perfect for us. Overall, everything about the property exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

What a stunning property with everything in there you can think of! Beautiful home interiors with plenty of cute quirky little items in each room. Lovely and warm too! The downstairs cellar bar is a fabulous addition and all the gorgeous items added to each room make it a place that makes me smile for sure. A lot of effort has clearly gone into this house and me and my partner were very impressed with it!

I 100% love this property! The only thing that could be improved is the humming noise coming from the top bedroom (we moved into the lower room because of it) and no shampoo or shower gel in the shower which would have been a nice touch but that’s just me being picky as we still absolutely loved the place! X

What a fantastic find!

The house was delightfully decorated and comfortable, if not slightly quirky with four different floors. Parking available on the street and only 2 minutes walk from Thirsk market square, shops, pubs and restaurants. Fab loved it!

Cozy with super hosts who met our needs. When the hot water went out came over within minutes to fix the heater problem. A++ all the way! Host had milk & sweets in the kitchen to welcome us. Most kind.

Too many steps for my new knee replacement, no facility on 1st floor. However, managed it best as possible.

Clean and very comfortable with quirky decoration throughout. Location excellent as only a 2 minute walk from the town centre. On road parking available using a permit provided by the host.

Not a problem for us, but as is often the case with older properties, the stairs were on the steep side and narrow when accessing the second bedroom.

A Gem of a property that’s a home away from home.

The house is clean, very spacious and has everything you need for a home away from home, with a very easy check in and check out system. Me and my family loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone else wanting to stay in the area.

Loved everything about the house. Location! Location! Location!

We were staying because of a wedding and Thirsk Races, so the location was perfect for both . The house was clean, comfortable and very quirky with very furnishings and decor. We loved the surprise bottle of wine and cup cakes but could have done with a small milk to make a cuppa when we arrived. We would definitely stay again and also recommend to others . Parking arrangements worked very well too.

This is a little gem of a property - absolutely loved it here. Great for two couples with it having two bathrooms. The property is so quirky, clean, comfortable and two mins walk to the centre of Thirsk. Free parking just across the road - the lovely cupcakes were an added bonus :-). Loved Thirsk and we would definitely book again without hesitation.... thank you so much. (Apologies for the lateness in providing feedback.)

Lovely little cottage

The house was a gem of a find! It was decorated beautifully, with an Easter touch! Comfortable for a family of 4, great facilities. House is located close to everything that lovely Thirsk has to offer.

Shame we only stayed for 1 night.
