Sad,but nice to come back to my roots and see my family.

Good location , and near to the shops.Our stay was for a family funeral near by,so we didn’t get time to explore.Be back to visit again in the future.

Nothing ,that’s all I can say.Acommodation was spot on,and near to where we wanted to be.

Great stay

Very cosy cottage . Very well equipped. Lovely touch of leaving Tea , coffee , which was delicious sugar , milk and lovely biscuits. Thank you for the wine - much appreciated . Our dog especially liked her stay . Perfectly situated for the town. We had a lovely Sunday lunch across the road and a very good Chineese take away on the second night. We took advantage of the scrabble both nights. Great to be able to park outside the cottage. And the street was quiet at night. The beds are very comfortable .

The stairs are challenging , especially if you are on your late 60's early 70's , Which we are 😜

A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Ideal for visiting the many attractions in the area.

It's located just outside the town centre which is just a five minute walk away. There was a nice little welcome basket, thank you for that. The cottage is cosy and nicely decorated with lovely knick knacks. It was an ideal location for our nephews wedding.

Not the property owners fault but there's a street light right outside the bedrooms which illuminates the rooms with an orange glow. The double bed was also quite lumpy so not a great night's sleep.

Wedding party

Ideal location for Thirsk town centre. We were attending a wedding at Thirsk Lodge barns. Cottage had everything we needed for a short stay. Welcome pack was a very nice touch. No problem with parking.

Not much room for 4 people getting ready for a wedding at the same time, but we all managed ok. Us men just stayed out of the way !!

Easy access to town

Close to town centre, very nice welcome pack, exceptionally clean with nice white fluffy towels, comfortable beds.

The second bedroom was very small, not much room to hang clothes, property on the small side, not really big enough for couples, probably ok with young children. An old property so stairs are quite steep.

We were looking for a place central to the Moors I

The goody box when we arrived was a real treat, bikkies, wine, coffee already ground, milk and sugar cubes! It was easy to walk to everything, museums, bus stop, market place and restaurants.

Beautiful little home, that sleeps 4. Incredible value considering the location and how nice the place is. Plenty of parking directly outside. Lovely little welcome box with wine, tea, coffee and cookies. We visit Thirsk every year and this will now be our regular choice to stay at.

This fantastic cottage

It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely cottage very clean beds so comfortable every thing you need was in the cottage and within easy walking distance to all amenities

My partner and I stayed with my nephew his partner and there 7 month old little girl who had travelled from New Zealand. They just loved everything right down to the lovely comfy travel cot for Bella to sleep in with its brand new bedding. Tha whole experience was 1st class not forgetting the lovely bottle of wine and cookie's that where left for our arrival. Wonderful little break just one thing wrong we are sorry we didn't book for longer.

Lovely, clean cottage near to the centre of Thirsk. Can walk into the town and very accessible to other areas.

Could have done with a few more hooks or rails to hang coats and towels. Another toilet roll would have been nice. One for a 3 day stay wasn't enough. Perhaps some basic condiments in the kitchen too.

Handy place for what we wanted

Good two bed terrace in Thirsk town centre. Well equipped for a small house and comfort slt beds. Nice that a few essentials were left on arrival.

Probably due to the age of the house sound travels through the party wall - only really noticed that one evening

What a superb little place this was! Brilliantly clean with a perfect location and provided everything you needed. Would definitely recommend this place and we would love to come again. Extremely accommodating considering we stayed with a young child and baby.. a lovely home away from home!
