Comfortable home from home and so close to the centre of Ripon

Location was excellent, just what we wanted. 5 minute walk to the town centre. Central heating worked brilliantly as it was very cold in Ripon when we visited.

Squeaky floorboards! But if we hadn’t been jet lagged and awake at all hours trying to creep around I probably wouldn’t have noticed.

Very enjoyable stay, great place which is clearly looked after. I would definitely stay again.

House was modern, clean and had great facilities. The TV and wifi were excellent. The property had easy parking and was located ideally for my purpose in getting to the town centre.

The bath was unusable as there was no way the plug fitted the bath. The shower could have been hotter although hot water to the rest of the house was fine. The sink in the bathroom needs unblocking as the tap would fill the basin quickly with no plug in.

Lovely home let down by lack of cleaning and maintenance

Very handy location in nice neighbourhood. You can see the Cathedral from the back bedroom window. Also hearing the cathedral bells in the evening and morning. Walking distance to Ripon, shops etc. Great river walks also from house. Warm and comfortable home. Fully equipped kitchen, good shower for hot water and pressure. Pleasantly surprised by large bedrooms and storage for a 2 bed house.

Inside of oven door and trays are filthy therefore making it impossible to use. Microwave needs replacing as Inside of door very rusty/corroded and a health hazard. Only one hand towel for 3 people for 6 nights. Only 2 toilet rolls. 1 tea towel. No toilet roll holder and hand towel rail loose. One kitchen door handle missing a screw. Black mould on bottom of master bedroom windows. Generally feel the house could do with a deep clean ahead of the summer season. Sadly the skimping on the above really lets this lovely house down. Two allocated parking spaces more often than not, taken by other residents. Impossible to park outside house and hence had to park elsewhere. Not ideal when you have to pack and unpack your car.

Very clean and tidy. Small touches of tea, coffee and biscuits when we arrived were really appreciated. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Also well stocked towels, tea towels and bedding. Bathroom very clean. Within a short walking distance to the town and plenty of great walks on the doorstep. The information pack the owners left was invaluable.

Toilet a little temperamental at times when flushing. Wouldn’t stop us from booking again though.

It's really surprising how spacious it is for a 2 bed house. It has everything you need. The location is perfect. It's only 2 to 3 minutes' walk into the town centre, and about a 5 minute drive to the race course, we couldn't have asked for more.

Location great, nice and central to get into Ripon. Good local amenities. Nice walk to catherdol and along canal, very clean, east to access. No issues

Had big duvets on bed too warm for time of year and no alternative The catherdol clock chimns a lot
