The Nook - A modern 2 bedroom loft with parking

Clean and spacious overall. Getting in was hassle-free with easy-to-follow instructions for the gate, property key, and parking spot.

The upstairs glass roof has no blinds, making it too bright in the summer and waking us up early. Since the upstairs windows and access doors were locked, there was no ventilation, leading to stagnant airflow. Additionally, the ground floor bedroom needs bedside tables to place books or small items.

What a gem lovely comfortable spacious accommodation Loved the quirky decor and set up of the rooms . And a bonus roof garden . The steps up to the accommodation are steep and hand rail not to the top ,but we took our time

The steps are steep and metal the hand rail didn’t meet the tip step , we took it slow and managed.

It’s central, convenient and comfortable.

Very easy to collect the keys

The weather was extremely hot (34C) and no fans were provided, sleeping up in the loft area was suffocating and even though there is a little tiny window in the bedroom, most windows in the property don't open, which surely is a fire risk? Also not everyone wants to sleep under the stars, there are no blinds to the window skylights and waking up at the crack of dawn (5am) is not my usual good nights sleep. I ended up sleeping with a scarf over my head but given the heat in the room, this wasn't great either. If there had been two of us sleeping in that room, we would have had to check out and gone to a aircon hotel. It was unbearable. I strongly suggests the owner comes and spends a night in their accommodation, especially on a hot day to see how bad it is. I did contact the owner prior to arriving about fans, so luckily I bought a fan (still very hot in the room even with a fan) but I could only fit one fan in my car which meant my son had to suffer in the other bedroom and struggle to open the window. Please please get some blinds on those sky lights and fans, surely this is not a lot to ask for? As for parking, this was reasonable enough though I was nervous about leaving my car where I can't see it and not close to the property. Where I come from, cars get stolen a lot. You had to be careful using the outside steps too though my 22 year old son was fine using them.
