Overall nice stay

The location was spot on. It was super clean and really well decorated. The parking details were good and easy to follow. Overall we enjoyed our stay it was the first time we had stayed anywhere other than a hotel.

The heating took a while to warm the rooms it wouldnt be a problem in summer but it was freezing when we went and it took ages to warm up. We also couldn't figure out how to get hot water. There was also a little rust on one of the bathroom towel warmers and the toilet brush was failing apart in the downstairs ensuite and slightly rusted. I did expect there to be some information about the house and how to use certain things and information about the local area but we couldn't find anything.

Great property, apart from the temperature.

Excellent location in the town centre, very quiet. Property was modern and clean and the layout with 2 ensuites was perfect for our party of 2 couples. Instructions and videos on accessing the property and parking were very clear.

- Steep stairs to get up to the property, which were slippery as it was raining. Wouldn't suit all, especially with luggage. - The heating, or lack of,was a real issue. Arrived to find all wall heaters set to 7 degrees. It was freezing. The heating is controlled remotely by the owner and is on a timer- it can only be adjusted during these short set times, and the controls are locked at all other times Got into bed at 11pm fully clothed and still freezing. Had to message the owner at 11pm to ask for the system to be unlocked so we could put the heating back on. I don't think it's unreasonable for someone renting your property to be able to control the temperature, and not have it turned down remotely every time you put the temperature up to get warm.

Fabulous apartment

Very clean, comfortable and in excellent location. Having allocated parking a short distance away was good, and the communications we had regarding the heating was quick and helpful, we had a great stay, thank you 😊

Nothing negative to say, however it would benefit from having hooks on back of bathroom doors and a wall mirror upstairs above the sockets so you can see to dry hair etc.

Great location but needs a deep clean, update paint otherwise lovely place.

Location good.

Was stated that milk and coffee would be available on arrival but none. Lots of cobwebs about. Bathroom radiator very rusty. No mirror in bedroom-could do with a little shelf also. Not worth the price.

Location could not be better

Convenient, clean, quiet. Good communication between the faculty and client.

No mention of the steep steps up to the property. Difficult to carry suit cases up and down them. Older people may struggle. Also it gives the impression that the parking is next to the accommodation not down the road. When I arrived it had been market day so the loading bay was full. I had to park some distance away and transport my belongings one by one then up the steep steps to the accommodation I was more than exhausted when I fined.

The property itself was lovely and clean.

Kitchen and lounge windows would not open so we had to leave front door open to gain fresh air. The beds were not comfortable, too soft. Main bedroom skylights could do with blinds as both mornings we woke at approx 5am due to light coming through. Building work next door was noisy. Outside area not really suitable for children.

A comfortable apartment in an ideal location

Clean, well maintained and spacious. The rooms were large and comfortable. The location was ideal for dining out, all local shops and amenities were within walking distance. Having a dedicated parking space was very helpful. We did not meet any staff so cannot comment about them.

A few minor niggles included: The access steps from the street were a bit awkward to negotiate especially if mobility is limited. We were there in very hot weather so the upstairs loft bedroom with a skylight became very hot and sleeping was uncomfortable. Not the owners fault, but still an issue for us. There was no mirror in the bedroom. There was no bedside table in the downstairs bedroom. The toilet paper was poor quality. A few more places to hang towels in the en-suite bathrooms would be useful

The apartment was in a good central location, convenient for everything. It was well equipped and beautifully presented. The roof terrace was perfect spot for enjoying a coffee or glass of wine.

Location very good , once you got used to the gate and front door ( key was very stiff) it was great . The hot water was excellent 😁

Although the attic bed looked very welcoming , it wasn’t very comfortable. The toilet brush in the attic ensuite was broken and when the bath emptied it took a while so I lifted the plug out and the waste was manky , sorry but I’m a plumber so notice these things .

Great location, lovely accommodation.

Clean and bright apartment, very well equipped. Lovely sitting out area to catch the afternoon/ evening sunshine. Great location and a bonus having dedicated parking nearby being in the town centre. Brilliant little ‘movies’ about how to use appliances, etc.

A very pleasant apartment with lots of space . Very comfortable, well presented and clean .

Good location in centre of town

The parking situation was challenging . A difficult space to manoeuvre into due to a hole in the road on the approach which filled with water after rain so you couldn’t see how deep it was . We arrived at our parking spot one day to find it occupied by a blue car ….. fortunately a man in a white car was close by at the time and knew who the car belonged to ….he made a phone call and a female came and moved it ….we believe they were from a pizza shop . The steps upto the apartment were steep and not suitable for people with mobility issues .

Ideally situated in town centre, really quiet of an evening due to the double glazing plus original sash windows. The place couldn’t have been any cleaner. The kitchen had everything you will ever need.

Fabulous stay at the Nook luxury at its best

Central to everything in town the apartment was beautifully decorated and elegant everything you could need for your stay. Has its own parking space 2 mins walk from apartment, Ripon is lovely place lots of shops bars and restaurants and things to do perfect place to stay loved it

The stairs to the property would be my only concern with anyone with a walking difficulty or young child

2 night stay at the nook

Clean and comfortable little apartment with all new decor. Choice of bath or shower. Great kitchen facilities. Comfy beds, lovely decor and ideal location. A little cold on arrival but easily rectified and warm afterwards.
