Great Place, great Location.

Key Press - code sent in advance of arrival.

Sadly a technical hitch on the boiler meant that we had cold water and no heating for 1 1/2 days - outside of this, the standard of property and location where top notch.

Really enjoyed our break at this house in Ripon. Would highly recommend

We had a lovely 4 night stay at this property in Ripon. It had everything we needed and is a beautiful place to stay. The location is ideal right by the cathedral in the city centre. So many great places to visit nearby. We went to York, Brimham Rocks, Bolton Abbey and did a fabulous circular walk from the house to Fountains Abbey. Also managed to squeeze in an evening trip to the Turkish baths in Harrogate-which were fabulous. RIpon cathedral and musuems are well worth a visit. We had a great time and would highly recommend this holiday house!

Lovely location close to cathedral

Very convenient location to Ripon town centre. Lovely to be near the cathedral. Spacious rooms, especially the top floor. Great to have proper wardrobes not hanging racks. Very nice kitchen, with everything you could need. Comfy beds with good linen. Hallway was handy to leave wet shoes in. Although no coat hooks.

Parking near property was a nightmare. Local residents competing with each other for limited parking. Radiator in first floor front bedroom not working, making it a bit chilly morning and night. Although the house was warm everywhere else.

Great choice for exploring Ripon and surrounds

Location was excellent and the communication with the host was great. We arrived quite late and had no issues accessing the property with the instructions provided. Small issue with heating was troubleshooted in real time. Home is as pictured and has really spacious rooms.

This is a minor personal preference and really nitpicking but it would be nice to have a darker blind on the velux window in the top floor bedroom. The room got very bright quite early. Two flights of stairs to the third bedroom not an issue for my group but something to consider for others

Central situation .

Needed a mirror and chair in small bedroom. Couldn’t get the cooker hood to work . Cupboard interior in bathroom needed painting or some kind of improvement.

Its always like a home from home.

We have used this house a couple of times now as its in a perfect location for the relatives we visit. Its close to the main centre and is always spotless. The host was very quick to respond when we highlighted a small issue, and it was repaired the following morning, excellent service thats for sure.

Lovely Host Ben. Easy instructions and suggestions about things to do in the area. Great Kitchen.

We got an email with the key code and instructions on how to use it. Parking was very good we had two cars and there was enough room for both of them together. Hallway led to a lovely big kitchen which had everything you could need for your stay. Everything was easy to use. Lovely town and great amenities, places to eat and drink, walks. Bedrooms are of a good size and plenty of storage space. Petrol station. Feels safe to walk around a night. Also the property had great TV choices with add ons. Host was easy to contact.

Mirrors in bedrooms not located in place easy to do hair and makeup. Only one bathroom- getting from the top floor to down steep stairs wasn’t great in the night.

relaxing and conveniently located.

The house was in a perfect location, just about a 4 minute walk into the city where there were plenty of bars and eateries. The check in process was efficient and using a key box to access the house suited us all, as it meant we could leave it there each day and who ever returned first could let themselves in. It felt like a home from home. Had great communication from Ben regarding booking in and again on the day of check-out . I would definitely stay here again if I visit Ripon as it gives you independence.

This isn't a niggle but there appeared to be bits of black under the shower screen when folding it out (could be mould , but I'm no expert) This would be a simple thing to keep on top of.

Wonderful break in Ripon - a little gem of a place

The cottage is so well placed overlooking the Cathedral. The cottage itself is full of character and extremely comfortable. All things you'd need are there for you. Lovely places to eat within a 5 minute walk. We'll definitely return

Ramen opendoen is lastig, maar is wellicht vooral nodig bij langere verblijven. Wat spinnenwebben her en der, maar past ook bij een oud pand. Wat je gebruikt is wel echt schoon en prima.
