A wonderful 2 day stay in a stunning property.

Great communication from owner. Video of instructions helpful too. Beautifully presented property with everything you could need. Very picturesque by the canal and walkable to town. A well designed property which was perfect for us.

Heating system not programmed, explained as possibly temporary. Would have liked to return to instant warmth!

Relaxed and enjoyable!

Location was perfect for getting into Ripon. Discovered nice walk along the river from Water Rat pub. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Met hosts who were friendly and helpful. Overall a perfect couple of days, thank you!

Loved the location on the canal. We were in town for a family funeral and were quite pleased with accommodation. Meeting the dog was a great plus! Would definitely stay again.

Only downside was having to carry the cases down the lane after going thru the gate.

Comfortable stay in a top notch property a short walk from amenities.

Everything! Whilst we didn't meet the hosts whilst we were staying, all information was sent to me in a timely manner and my request for no feathers accommodated. Photographs did not do the property justice - very stylish accommodation.

Beautiful Apartment in Excellent location

The Boathouse was perfectly located in Ripon which we used as a base to explore the area. The finish of everything was high standard and every detail was really well thought out. Stayed with children aged 3 and 7 for 4 nights which was an ideal amount of time for the size of the accommodation. Everything there for cooking and cleaning which was really good. We met the hosts who were really responsive when messaging and also very welcoming when we arrived.

The only drawback was that we couldn't park outside the property even to unload which was quite difficult with small children and all of the associated luggage! It was also raining heavily when we were there so it was inconvenient at times with the car being away from the property. Having said that, this wouldn't stop me recommending this place, it is just worth noting for those with little ones or mobility issues.

Amazing, comfortable and minutes away from the town.

The house, location and the hosts were all fantastic. There was nothing they didn't inform us of before we got there, so friendly and the place felt like a home from home. We will definitely return. Other people have judged this property for the lack of parking but it is just seconds away from the site, we didnt find it a problem at all.

If I had to pick something it would be nice to have an under cupboard light in the kitchen. Just a simple light as kitchen always felt dark, but that is literally all we could think of. It really is a beautiful property.

The lovely BOATHOUSE

Super comfy beds, exceptionally clean, very modern, right at the canal basin. Short walk into the centre of Ripon. What's not to like. Sophie, the owner was very friendly and helpful if you needed anything, we got on well. Hope to come back again soon. Would highly recommend, if you like the accommodation description, you will love it when you walk in, definitely got the wow factor.

Excellent stay

Fabulous apartment in a beautiful location, short walk to the cathedral, town and race course. Gary was very friendly and helpful. Very nicely decorated and had almost everything you could need. The apartment has great and plentiful towels. It has plug and usb sockets by the beds , great fans in the bedrooms and a large fridge freezer in the kitchen as well as lots of kitchen utensils .

Not a dislike but would have been handy to have more than one tea towel or perhaps some kitchen roll and some more cleaning products for the kitchen .
