Camilla House

Starting from the host - Marilena was the best host we ever had. She picked us up from the train station, explained everything about Varenna, we even went for some grocery shopping in the square after picking us up. Then after we arrived to Camilla House, she patiently showed us every key aspect of the apartament. We were prepared that we would hear trains till 10pm and then in the morning - however the noise is not long and it can definitely be manageable. Definitely in the centre of Varenna you hear everything longer and louder. The view from the apartament is OUTSTANDING. Apartament is also really comfortable, clean, fantastically prepared for tourists. I honestly could not imagine a better place to be in Lake Como. Everyday she offered to drive us from the Centre to Camilla House. This combination makes us want to come back every single year here!!! Marilena, thanks once again for making this stay a true definition of beautiful vacation

The location was very convenient to Varenna- just remember it’s not in the town about 3kms out, so a car is a must. Scenery from the apartment is fabulous- does lack an outdoor sitting area. Air conditioning is being installed soon which will complete the facility. Clean and loads of room . The host is amazingly helpful and provided great tips and access to Carpark in the town - there is easy parking at the apartment which for Varenna is a must

There is a train track that runs down the slope from the apartment which runs from early but ends mid evening; not overly frequent.
