The location (removed from both Naxos town and Agios Prokopios) is a welcome and quiet place, though it's still close enough to walk to the beach. A car is necessary for anything further on the island. The house is beautiful, spacious, a maze of rooms and stairs, and the outdoor pool, patio, and yard make for a retreat. View of the ocean at summer sunset was a bonus, and the kitchen allows for full meal cooking. Large supermarket just one mile away had everything and more.
Beware: cash payment only. We did not see these fine-print terms and had to spend much extra time contacting our bank to withdraw large sums. As with other places in Greece, the villa does not offer any instructions for operating the appliances (oven in German, washing machine in Greek).

Great location tucked out of the way in Stelida but not too far from the amenities of Agios Prokipios. We walked to/ from the top (western end) of Prokopios beach with our 5 yr old daughter no problem. Rest of the island incl. Chora via car hire. The views from the villa are stunning - amazing sunsets and a largely uninterrupted sea vista. Good beach/cliff walks/scrambles. Very helpful host. Sad to leave - would stay here again in a pinch.
Nothing at all to do with the villa specifically, but there were lots of mosquitoes at dusk and sometimes buzzing around inside during the night. Common for Naxos I think. The villa had some citronella candles which helped a little.
