Naxos Cave Suites

After spending four nights at Naxos Cave Suites, I can honestly say this was one of the very best hotel experiences I've ever had. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, impeccably maintained, and perfectly positioned to enjoy everything Naxos has to offer. The suites are stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and every detail reflects the care that has gone into creating such a special place. What truly makes Naxos Cave Suites exceptional, however, is the family behind it. John, the owner, has created something remarkable, but it's his warmth, generosity, and genuine pride in welcoming guests that make the difference. His wife, Maria, who looks after so many aspects of the guest experience, is simply wonderful—kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their son, Vasilluis, was fantastic at the bar and restaurant, making every meal and evening feel relaxed and enjoyable, while their lovely daughter Dora brought such warmth and friendliness to every interaction. By the end of our stay, they no longer felt like hotel staff—they felt like friends. Their hospitality is sincere, effortless, and deeply personal in a way that is increasingly rare. They took the time to get to know their guests, offered wonderful recommendations, and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfasts were outstanding, the setting is stunning, and every day we looked forward to returning "home" after exploring the island. It is clear that this isn't simply a business for the family—it is a labour of love, and every guest benefits from that passion. There are many beautiful hotels in Greece, but very few create memories that stay with you long after you've left. Naxos Cave Suites did exactly that. This remarkable family made our trip to Naxos truly unforgettable, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We left feeling grateful for their kindness and already looking forward to returning.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Our room was gorgeous—had a little well equipped kitchen, jacuzzi in the room, and very comfortable bed. The shower had great pressure too which is important to us. The owners (beautiful family!) were so gracious and helpful. The breakfast provided was over the top—more food than we could possibly eat and so delicious!!

This place is one of my most favorite ever! So tranquil and serene, with warm and welcoming hospitality and excellent food! John was always available to help with giving us rides to town and ideas to explore the island. I can’t waits to come back here again!

Its location is another highlight—perfectly situated close to a coastal town, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful retreat.
