A Little Disappointed; Expectations were high

Here's what my family and I liked about this property: the house is spacious, the grounds are well-maintained, the infinity pool looks out to the ocean, the location is quiet and safe.

The house on the inside looked clean enough or so it seemed, however, it was musty - probably because we were the first guests for the season - the house wasn't aired out prior to us getting there, there were bugs and insects, mosquitoes and such that bit every single one of us. It was so uncomfortable.

Stunning views in a beautiful location

The most stunning views over the water onto Paros. Excellent location, close to shops, beaches and restaurants. Comfortable bedrooms with lots of space. Local cats frequented the outside space that we befriended, feeding them daily (we love cats!). Staff very helpful and responsive to our needs.

The hot water ran out frequently due to it being solar heated. Only 1 stand up shower (the other 2 are over baths). Very small kettle. But overall it is a fantastic villa and we had a lovely relaxing stay.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The living areas are separated out which is good for a large group. The bathrooms were under a bit of pressure at busy times with our group of 9 women

Superb

This was a fabulous villa with superb views of the sea and of Paros. The villa is very spacious with a lovely pool and comfortable loungers. The master bedroom is large with it's own small balcony but no ensuite bathroom. The top floor bedroom has a large balcony off it and a shower in the room with a separate toilet. There are 4 bedrooms in the main house and 3 bath/shower rooms. There is also a small chalet in the garden with a separate bedroom and shower room but this comes at additional cost. The villa is very expensive but reasonable value if you were to have full occupancy of 9 or 10 people. Sadly, though I booked for a family of 7 only 4 made it in the end. Payment was due a long time in advance and there was understandably no discount given when the numbers changed so a very costly option in the end. All in all we enjoyed our 5 days at Villa Montana

There was not much to dislike but if I was to make suggestions it would have been useful to have a toaster and the bath with shoer over on the first floor could perhaps be improved by having a door or shower curtain. Despina who looked after the property was wonderful, very welcoming and helpful.

Didn't live up to expectations

rooftop terrace is really nice for watching the sunset. The pool is also great. Was a nice touch to be welcomed by a plate of cheese and fresh fruit. All rooms with aircon

Lots of mosquitos (not sure if that was just the area). When we arrived the room wasn't ready so we went to their partner hotel and that was great however when we finally got taken to the villa (on their advice) there were people still cleaning and there was a huge commotion between the hosts. Very much felt like we were in the way and not a great 1st impression. There was also construction work being done on the other side of the street which kind of ruined the serene ambiance and view.
