La chambre est superbe : spacieuse, moderne, très propre et parfaitement entretenue. L’emplacement est également idéal, à proximité de plusieurs commerces, de l’arrêt de bus et de la plage. Mais ce qui rend vraiment ce séjour exceptionnel, c’est surtout la gentillesse et l’accueil de notre hôte. Il est adorable, à l’écoute, disponible et toujours prêt à rendre service. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec de la pastèque et du jus d’orange, une attention qui nous a vraiment fait plaisir. 🍉🍊 Et chaque matin, nous avons eu droit à un petit-déjeuner offert, copieux et délicieux, parfait pour bien commencer la journée ! Nous ne sommes malheureusement restés que deux nuits, car notre voyage nous poussait à découvrir d’autres îles. Et pourtant, nous aurions volontiers passé toutes nos vacances ici tant nous nous y sommes sentis bien. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable et nous recommandons cet établissement les yeux fermés. Un immense merci pour cet accueil chaleureux et toutes ces petites attentions qui font vraiment la différence. Une adresse que nous n’hésiterons pas à choisir à nouveau ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Breakfast was nice and our host was accomodating for us, though it wasn't clear from the listing that breakfast was actually included which held us to staying home for the provided breakfast. We picked mostly based on location because we've visited the Island before, and the pricing at the time compared to what we were getting seemed very good. It's a short 5 minute walk to the big supermarket, the cinema bus stops in and out of town and a 15 minute walk into town and restaurants/shops. The furnishings were modern and things like a kettle and espresso machine were a nice addition. The wifi worked well.

On arrival there was no obvious bell to ring, there were the 3 guest apartments then a separate one clearly stated NOT to be Amelie. We found the mattress very hard and uncomfortable, some furnishings were worn like rug edges creating a trip hazard. Outside furniture was also quite painful to sit on, plus with the view being less than what we expected we rarely used the balcony. Several window blinds were broken, investing some time I managed to repair some of them, but they didn't really block out any light so we were already awake at 6.30am every morning with it being very bright inside. The bug screen was also missing on our bathroom window, the only one we really needed to keep open to ventilate. Simon had obviously noticed this as one day we came back to find a temporary screen, but then the next day it had disappeared again. Storage in the bedroom was a wardrobe behind the door, otherwise pull out boxes. Both were impractical so we lived out of our suitcases. There was no storage in the bathroom so we had to just throw clothes and towels over dining chairs just outside the door, and put shampoo etc on the sink edge. On the small balcony there was a pull out drying rail with space for 5 towels which was suitable for drying towels after a shower. The laundry service was sadly not suitable, as it only included washing, not drying, our clothes then came back with a mildew smell and there was not enough space for drying, so we used what little space we had on the drying rail switching them out as soon as possible, everything else laid out on the sofa to dry. It was a nice place to stay but many essentials we feel were missed, and the condition of the apartment when we visited at the start of the season was concerning. Espresso machines, doorbell cameras and fancy lights are all nice bells and whistles, but we felt other more important parts were neglected. Guest experience could be improved massively with very little spend.
