Great apartment with stunning lake view in great location
The apartment was very nice. It is right in the centre of the beautiful old town. It is on the second floor so it’s up 2 flights of stairs as there is no lift. It’s not the largest of apartments but has adequate space. It had a lovely 2 person terrace with tables and chairs on the side that doesn’t face the lake. But it also has a lovely false terrace on the side facing the lake so you can reposition the dining chairs a bit, open these terrace doors and get a stunning view out over the lake. The ferry terminals are only a few mins walk from the apartment. Host was very helpful and gave good suggestions for eating and parking.
Internet was slow. Quite a few stairs to the second floor. Parking is an issue. Paid parking is more than 100m away and the nearest free parking is probably more that 500m away. We drove to the apartment at 2pm through the hundreds of people wandering around the shops in the very narrow lanes. Harrowing, but manageable. Was all worth it though for the final lake view from the apartment.
