If you're going to Lake Como stay at Vittorio and Diane's Guest House in Bellagio!!!

I can't say enough about Vittorio and Diane! The most exceptional hosts I've ever encountered!!! Vittorio met us at the gate, gave us our keys, directed us to our covered parking spot steps from our room, and helped us with our luggage! He escorted us to our room where a delicious bottle of Italian red wine and two wine glasses awaited us. Then, like a professional concierge, Vittorio brought out a four inch binder with maps, restaurant menus, pamphlets of local things to do. He also drew on a map where all of the free parking was in Bellagio and where the ferry was for the next day and the times that were best to get on the boat. Vittorio was wonderful! We want to stay there for a week next time! Oh! The kitchen was fully stock with everything a chef like myself would need for a nice dinner. There was coffee, cream, and sweets for the morning. Like I said, this is the place to stay in Bellagio and the grounds at Vittorio's place are beautiful!

Excellent place!

Our stay at "Monolocali in Casa con giardino" was a great experience! It's a really special property with a beautiful garden and outside spaces. Super comfortable accommodation with every little detail thought through and arranged for the luxurious stay. Vittorio and Diana are amazing hosts, attentive, kind, and very helpful. The location is quiet and also convenient. You can reach almost every point on foot or by a very short drive, and there is free parking close to the centre of Bellagio, which is really a big bonus. Will be very happy to come back. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay

Victorio was very welcoming and checked in everyday to ensure that the stay was perfect. The fridge was stocked up with water and drinks and the kitchenette with pans and all utensils needed. The bed was also very comfortable. No issues whatsoever.

Amazing Bellagio accom, fantastic host!

We loved the personalised service and support from our host. We couldn't have thanked him enough for helping us to and from accommodation whilst also setting up the shared living space with a fire & music - perfect for our honeymoon to have a drink and wind down. Many fantastic suggestions for touring spots and support with a small load of washing for a fair small price. We loved the comfy bed and the kitchenette was fabulous - it came with a few foods to get us started!

We loved it all! The steep walk home is supported by a few short cuts that are well explained when first arrived - no troubles at all!

Our stay was everything we could’ve wanted and more!

The property was open and spacious. Our section included a BBQ area and some sun loungers. The BBQ gave us the opportunity to spend the night in which was much appreciated after a busy day at the lake! We had access to an outhouse which had CD’s, a stereo, lots of books and a guitar which gave the space a really relaxed atmosphere. Our bedroom was lovely and our hosts had kindly supplied us with kitchen necessities (and a lovely bottle of Riesling). Vittorio and Diana were the perfect hosts. Vittorio was so friendly and helpful, he gave us so many recommendations for things to do around the area and was always on hand to help us choose something. They honestly went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay, I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family (and have done already). Really couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks so much both!!

We had the most wonderful 2-day stay in Bellagio, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing host, Vittorio. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He had thoughtfully prepared a detailed plan for us, ensuring we didn’t miss out on any of the must-see attractions around Lake Como. Not only that, but he took the time to personally explain everything to us, which made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. Vittorio also helped us with our luggage and made sure we caught our bus to Milan on time when we were running late — something we truly appreciated. His home is the perfect retreat: beautifully designed rooms and a lovely outdoor space to relax, just a few steps from the lake. The peaceful ambiance made it the perfect base for our time in Bellagio. He is genuinely one of the kindest and most open-hearted hosts we’ve ever met — friendly, helpful, and always smiling. We had the best time and felt like we didn’t miss a thing. Perfect peaceful stay in Bellagio

We had an amazing stay at Vittorio and Diana's place. Our hosts were so welcoming, friendly, and we felt at home straight away. The studio is gorgeous - beautifully decorated and thoughtfully supplied with amenities. The garden has seating and lounge chairs which are really lovely to use to relax in the garden and enjoy the scenery. We really appreciated how Vittorio went above and beyond - showing us Bellagio and making a dinner reservation on our behalf. Staying at Monolocali in Casa Con Giardino Bellagio was the highlight of our trip to Lake Como and we would highly recommend staying here to everybody. If we could give a rating higher than 10 we would. We cannot wait to stay again!

It's hard to describe how unique and special the experience of visiting Vittorio and Diana was. Saying it was a pleasure is simply not enough. The apartment was very clean, fragrant, and cozy. The garden was available for our use. Slightly off the beaten path, but the walk to the center is very pleasant. In our opinion, the location is perfect. Staying with Vittorio and Diana means you can forget about guidebooks – they'll tell you all about the most important places and where it's truly worth going. We recommend, recommend, and recommend again! A rating of 10 is definitely not enough!

An Unforgettable Stay at Monolocali! Our stay at Monolocali was absolutely perfect from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed with Prosecco and snacks, which was a lovely touch. Our host, Vittorio, is truly exceptional. He is incredibly kind, extraordinarily helpful, and unbelievably dedicated to his guests. He provided us with maps outlining walking routes to the town center and essential information about exploring the most interesting places in Bellagio and the surrounding area. The spacious studio is located in an charming Alpine-style house and is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning. Guests also have access to a beautifully maintained garden with a gazebo, grill, and sun loungers. Vittorio treats his guests like family members – we've never experienced such incredible hospitality. We highly recommend Monolocali and can't wait to return!

Absolutely amazing!!

It was amazing!! Super clean and beautiful garden to sit in. 25 minute walk from downtown Bellagio made it a great location. Hosts were so friendly and were lots of help in navigating the city. They even provided a binder of information about Bellagio and surrounding towns. Would highly recommend to all! Unforgettable stay with exceptional hospitality

Absolutely wonderful stay! Most importantly, an amazing, communicative, and incredibly helpful host - Vittorio waited for us until almost 2 a.m., prepared recommendations, pointed out must-see places, and even thought of thoughtful details like marking free parking spots for us or making a dinner reservation on our behalf. The apartment looked even better than in the photos - spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and a terrace, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were greeted with wine, a supply of water, and snacks in the fridge, and on the day of our departure, Vittorio surprised us with homemade pizza for the road. The location was also fantastic, right next to a breathtaking view of the lake, about a 20-minute scenic walk to the center of Bellagio. We've never experienced such hospitality before and will be recommending this place to everyone!

Best, affordable, clean and great location

An unforgettable stay! Our hosts went the extra mile—showing us shortcuts, help book activities, and recommending the best spots to explore in our limited time. The room was even better than expected, with a cozy outdoor lounge and beautiful views. We loved the warm shower, coffee machine (with milk and free best Italian wine, kindly provided), and the host even dropped us at the bus stop at the end with our luggage. He’s a warm, passionate person who truly loves Lake Como. Just a 20-min scenic walk to Bellagio or a quick bus ride (with a low fee or sometimes even no fee)—hands down the best place I’ve stayed!

Great host, spacious and comfortable flat.

Vittorio, the delightful and helpful host, met us at the gate to the property and showed us where to park, opened the flat for us (he even helped with luggage), and told us everything we could possibly need or want to know about both the property and the area. He provided maps and a binder chock-full of information on how to get around, where to park to walk into the city, things to see, schedules for boat tours, etc. The flat is very spacious (except the bathroom, which is fairly small but perfectly appointed and spotless), with a full kitchen, dining table, comfortable large bed, extra blankets, etc. Vittorio even provided a bottle of wine, bottled water, and nibbles that serve as a light breakfast. If you're planning to spend a week or more in the area, this would be a fantastic place to settle in.

Not a thing. You couldn't ask for more from the host or the property, especially given the very low price. Of course, if you're depending on public transportation, it's not the most convenient location for touring the town of Bellagio, but that's not an issue if you're driving.

Loved our stay here! The owner was incredibly helpful, picked us up from the bus stop and dropped us back off. Incredibly detailed explanations of how to get around and how/were to go to be able to make the most of our time in Lake Como. Great facilities - had everything we needed. Great air conditioning. Umbrellas for rain.

The property was very welcoming and homely, Victor (the host) made sure we felt we'll accommodated and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The apartment that we stayed in was well equipped with food, tea and coffee, cutlery etc, we was also given a complimentary bottle of Red wine to enjoy on our stay. There is an area separate to your apartment which provided games, books, cds etc, a perfect place to chill out that's not in your own apartment. We really enjoyed the outdoor breakfast/dining area, this was a lovely touch to eat breakfast outside which was surrounded by views of the mountains and blooming colourful flowers. Victor was an amazing host, he picked us up from where we arrived into Bellagio centre, took us around and showed how to get around, places to eat, how to get the ferry's. 10/10 I cannot fault anything about this and the host, absolutely outstanding service. Thank you very much for making our stay so memorable

vittorio is fantastic. he was so kind and hospitable and full of enthusiasm. great suggestions, very homely and comfortable space. the bakery and restaurant up the road are incredible and it’s a great place to have a local feel away from the hectic main town when you want to get away.

not to fault the property as it was lovely. just be mindful about roads in the area that don’t really have sidewalks so you walk on the road itself and it can feel a bit scary at times I found! taxis and walking in the day are best (if you don’t mind an incline!)

Lovely home and hosts

The home was so cute and had all the amenities you need to cook if you want! They have a beautiful garden where you can sit and soak up the view with your morning coffee. The hosts were also incredibly helpful with things to do, best ways to travel the city, etc. The place was very clean and comfortable for two. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again!

The location is great if you have a car, and if you don’t there is a bus that runs very close by that’s less than 10 minutes to the town center, but it doesn’t come very often which means you have to plan ahead. This was still not really an issue because our hosts helped us with the schedule and even offered to pick us up! Just something to be aware of when planning your trip.

The place was cozy and beautiful, we had everything we needed, the host left us basic groceries in the fridge for cooking as a gift Wich was very heartwarming and useful. The kitchen was also well equipped and clean. Vitorio (the host) was super friendly and nice!, He helped us with everything, way beyond what we expected, he had brochures, maps and recommendations for all the attractions around the lake. He was really caring and helpful. He even gave us a lift to the bus station on our way back! The location is not as far as it seems from Bellagio center, there is a shortcut you can easily take to the center.

A Wonderful Stay

We liked everything, the accommodation conditions, the hosts. Everything was just perfect. The hosts catered for our wishes and met our highest expectations. The host, Vittorio, is an extremely welcoming person, always there to help or make suggestions whenever there was need for that. Vittorio was an amazing host. He was extremely welcoming and accommodating from the very beginning of our stay. We arrived in Bellagio via boat, and Vittorio was waiting for us to bring us to the home. It is not an easy walk from the home to the city center, so Vittorio also provided daily transportation. The room we stayed in was comfortable and very spacious - bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Vittorio even stocked the kitchen with wine, snacks, and pasta to cook at no extra charge. As a life-long local to Bellagio, Vittorio was also able to provide us restaurant recommendations and a guide to the must-see spots in the city. 10/10 host and would love to stay here again in the future.

Amazing stay !

We absolutely loved our stay at Monolocali in Casa con Giardino! Vittorio was extremely welcoming and helped us with everything we needed and more; picking us up from Bellagio port, helping with tips and directions and providing us with all the amenities we needed (hairdryer/breakfast bits/tea/milk/water) and even a bottle of wine and some pasta / sauce to make if we wanted to! The garden is beautiful and the walk into Bellagio only takes around 25 minutes with lovely views!! As two female travellers we felt extremely safe and looked after and couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would love to come back!
