The flat was spacious, very clean and in a pretty area. Comfortable bed and good value. I recommend the bakery nearby for a coffee and pastry. Fast responses over message from the host.
We felt as though the flat didn't have a broad range of facilities which could be improved. There was no toaster, iron, baking trays, kitchen knives, chopping boards, wifi, and only a small amount of hand wash and soap left. It was quite bare. We like to cook on holiday so this was a problem. There was also no guide to the flat, how to use things, check-in/out information, recommendations and information about local taxis, buses and things to do etc.
Moving around is quite difficult. The walk down to bellagio town is steep in some areas with stairs lasting 20-30 minutes, so be mindful of this. The walk back up is tough and a local taxi will do it, although the rate is €20 (tourist prices, ahah). Otherwise, the d110 lecco-bellagio bus will drop you off very close to the flat but the running times are quite hit and miss.
