Holm from Home, Relaxing Modern Bungalow with Private Garden, Quiet Location near Attractions & Ness Islands

Booked here last minute after another house cancelled the night before and we are go glad we ended up staying here. It’s a great location in a lovely, quiet wee scheme that’s easy to drive to and from. House is spacious enough, well presented and decorated with lots of nice wee extras like a greeting card and some goodies on arrival, fresh milk and juice in the fridge and plenty Tassimo pods - not just canned coffee. The property had everything in it to be a home from home, their information folder was extremely thought out and helpful, the place smelt amazing, it was wonderfully clean and communication was great. A good size house and garden too. Will definitely be booking again for a stay over a hotel when travelling with the kids; them being able to have space to play and their own room to sleep in and sleep easily makes such a difference the following day rather than all sharing a hotel room. The travel cot provided was too small for our toddler son but we feared he may roll out the double bed and we forgot our own bed guards. Thankfully the large dining chairs can be used as a barrier either side of the bed and he slept the whole night peacefully. Picture attached

Surprisingly not a lot of spare sockets for charging anything in the living room but this is so minor. Neighbour next door has a lovely, friendly yellow lab which was a nonissue for us and my son was desperate to play but the dog was a bit sheddy and hair was wafting through the fence so this could be something to consider for someone else if they have allergies or a fear, but the dog was honestly so friendly and quiet we were non the wiser had it not been in the garden at the fence to say hello.

A fabulously peaceful location and a wonderfully comfortable property - really enjoyed our stay! Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy and the whole place was fantastic.

Nothing at all to complain about.

Oh..it was definitely a home away from home. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Kitchen was adequately stocked and loved the fact that the host had stocked the fridge with milk, orange juice and lovely Scottish fudge. Had a lovely stay in this beautiful home.

The bathroom door for some reason was stuck and unable to lock, so had to sing and take bath so as to avoid unnecessary walk-ins. But hey, we didn’t think of it as a big issue and hence did not raise any concern to the host. I’m sure they would have helped if we did inform them.

Very clean and comfortable property. Lovely extra’s included. Breakfast items and biscuits were very thoughtful and much appreciated. Communication was excellent and property was available earlier than expected which was great.

Beds were a little firm but that’s just personal preference.
